Galaxy Minerals Acquires the Cleopatra - Bonanza Gold Project in Mohave County Arizona
Monday March 21, 9:36 am ET
- Potential Resource in Excess of 50 Million Tons of Ore and Grades Up to 0.33 Ounces of Gold Per Ton -
LAKE VILLA, Ill. and SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Ariz., March 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Galaxy Minerals (OTC Bulletin Board: GAXY - News), today announced that the Company acquired mineral rights relating to the disseminated Cleopatra / Bonanza Gold project from the McIntyre & Bauman Group, the largest private owner of precious mineral rights in the state of Arizona. The Cleopatra-Bonanza project could contain a potential resource of up to 16 million ounces of gold and is located on approx. 5,000 acres south of Kingman, Arizona.
Searchlight Exploration/ McIntyre & Bauman stated, "We are very impressed with the expedient manner in which Galaxy has progressed with the Yellow Jacket mine toward production. It is our contention that Galaxy is the perfect company to explore, develop and mine the Bonanza deposit."
About Bonanza
Bonanza is in the heart of the detachment fault terrain that hosts the multi-million ounce Mesquite, Picacho and Copperstone gold mines. Bonanza may well prove to be the largest of these deposits found to date with a potential, according to the last major to do work there, of a tonnage in excess of 50 million tons of ore and grades up to 0.33 ounces of gold per ton."
The following is an excerpt from the Phelps Dodge Report of 1984 written by R. K. Zimmerman: "The Cleopatra Project, located about 45 miles South-Southwest of Kingman Arizona, is being explored for large gold deposits of low to moderate grade. Potential size and grade range up to 50 Million Tons and .33 ounce of gold per ton. Mineralization present at the property consists of Quartz, Gold, Hematite, Chlorite, Fluorite, and Copper minerals. Recent information indicates deposits of economic significance will be hosted by mylonitic gneiss in the footwalls of major low-angle structures. Such mineralization is often present on high-angle faults in the hanging walls. Such mineralization is widespread in the upper plate of at least one such structure at Cleopatra. Magnetite is present beneath known deposits of this type, and ground magnetic surveys have proven useful in their discovery and delimitation."

GAXY looking much better, and we see steady buying this morning, making new highs along the way! Next target - .20, probably will hit today. Recover will continue back to mid 20's soon, and will then see aggressive buying shortly before the 31st dividend deadline, imo.

Question: When the 20% dividend is paid, won't the stock just drop to adjust for it? (It's a stock shares dividend, right? Is it a split 6:5 or 1 extra share per 5 (eg: no dillution)?
