I'm not familiar how dividends work, so since AGCI is giving a dividend of 1 share MDAS for every 5 shares of AGCI held, with record date of 3/23 and dividend date of 2/25, does that mean you have to buy AGCI on 3/23 or earlier or do you also have to allow for the transaction to settle (meaning it's probably too late to buy now)?
Is stock settlement the same as cash settlement?
