I have a couple of questions about the North American corporate dividend calendar located at http://yahoo.reuters.com/financeQuoteCompanyNewsArticle.jhtml?duid=mtfh75802_2005-01-12_20-35-26_n12ailydiv_newsml.

1) How accurate is the information?
2) If I buy the stock on the ex-dividend date at 3:59pm and sell next morning at 9:01am, will I receive the dividend?
3) What do all those letters that are added to the stock symbol mean. For example ABS_p.N. I'm guessing the N means NYSE but what do the underscores and letters have to do with the symbol.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Also, what do you think of XDSL?

2) yes, however the stock price will drop to (PPS closing price) - (dividend PPS) = (next mornings stock price)

XDSL loses money... Will they ever make money? IMO don't think.

I just read my post on #2

Example: 4PM PPS $1.00 - .05 div pps = $.95 next morning open PPS

I hope this will clear it up.
