THE MISSION

The mission of DWS Defense Systems is to become the preeminent supplier worldwide of state-of-the-art products and systems to help promote the sustainable safety and security of people and resources.

FULFILLING THE MISSION

The DWS Defense Systems Advisory Board will provide guidance and support to help DWS Defense Systems drive its operations and accomplish its chosen mission. An important component in DWS Defense Systems’ success in fulfilling its mission will be utilizing strategic partnerships with well-respected industry leaders in the design, development, manufacturing and installation of quality safety and security products and systems. Additionally, DWS Defense Systems will continue to enlist the services of qualified managerial personnel to complement its existing management team and help run the day-to-day operations of the company and thus ensure its long-term success.

ADVISORY BOARD

The Chairman of the DWS Defense Systems Advisory Board is Mr. Robert Schanz, an accomplished business strategist and negotiator with strong ties to the commercial and residential business communities. The Advisory Board is comprised of one of the world’s foremost authorities in counter-terrorism and matters of safety and security, former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard B. Kerik, and accomplished business leaders Messrs. Donald A. DiRenzo, Vice Chairman of Cushman & Wakefield and Scott L. Vining, the current Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Paragon Financial Corporation and former Chief Accounting Officer of Armor Holdings Inc. The critical work of the DWS Defense Systems Advisory Board will be to provide the company with the vision of safety, security and defense needs in today’s world, and the corporate senior level guidance needed to help deliver quality products and services to fulfill that vision.

STRATEGIC TEAMING RELATIONSHIPS

To support the delivery of the operating mission, DWS Defense Systems developed strategic teaming relationships with highly regarded industry leaders: Gaffco Ballistics, Protective Armored Systems, Inc., DuPont Flouroproducts, and Corning Cable Systems.
