The U.S. Air Force Procures FATS, Inc. Indirect Fire - Forward Air Control Trainer; FATS is Awarded a $925,000 ContractBusiness Editors
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 2, 2004--
Firearms Training Systems, Inc. (FATS) has been awarded
a contract valued at approximately $925,000 to deliver Indirect Fire -
Forward Air Control Training (I-FACT) systems to the U.S. Air Force.
The I-FACT system facilitates the training of personnel in the calling
for, and adjustment of indirect fire, which includes artillery, naval
gunfire, mortars and close air support. The contract calls for the
provision of multiple I-FACT systems, accessories, installation and
training. Deliveries will begin in early 2005.
"This contract is our largest award for I-FACT to date. We are
very excited about the potential growth that this new product provides

The I-FACT system is one of the newest virtual training products
