Thanks for the news. I got in at $3.23, a week before the Stern news came out. I watched it go up to $4.26 and drop back down. I still believe this will be a good long term buy. I originally bought with some inside info that Sirius will soon announce that they can deliver video feed over their existing satellite signals. Here is an article that came out after I was told about it. http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,1558,813311,00.asp?kc=ETNKT0209KTX1K0100361

Found this at my Ameritrade news section under SIRI.

Rochester, NY, Nov 12, 2004 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- OTCStockExchange.com`s "Stock Watch Alert" this morning are Morgan Beaumont, Inc. ( MBEU ), Dell Inc. (NasdaqNM: DELL), GlycoGenesys, Inc. (NasdaqSC: GLGS), Sirius Satellite Radio Inc (NasdaqNM: SIRI).

skip...skip...

Sirius Satellite Radio Inc (NasdaqNM: SIRI - http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=siri ): Howard Stern claiming he's being "jerked around" and "threatened" by his bosses says he might start on satellite radio a lot sooner than Jan. 1, 2006.

"A buddy of mine who shall remain nameless says . . . Viacom is trying to get Sirius [Satellite Radio] to pay off my contract and then I would leave early 'cause Sirius is anxious to get the show started," Stern told listeners yesterday.

The top-rated bad boy who shocked the radio world last month with the announcement he was quitting broadcast radio to take a big-money offer from satellite radio has been sounding uncharacteristically depressed of late.

He says he's being peppered by "legal letters" and "threats" from Viacom lawyers.

And elsewhere around the country Stern airs in 46 cities his show is being heavily censored by Infinity, Viacom's radio unit.

"Jimmy Kimmel wrote me [that] they're trashing the show [in L.A.], cutting pieces out and putting in more commercials than ever," Stern said.

"I'm like, 'Dude, I'm so outta here, let 'em do whatever they want.'"

Stern even attacked the head of Infinity dubbing him "Joel 'dangerously close to losing his position' Hollander" and claimed Hollander is "busy meeting with lawyers [to] see if I violated my contract in some way.

"Hey, I had a contract with you and I honored it," Stern said.

"You want to pay off, let me know," he said. "You don't want to pay off, I'm here for the duration.

"But you don't have to be d-heads about it."

Stern is worth as much as $100 million to Infinity, but the company recently made it clear that it considers him only a small part of the Viacom media empire.

Infinity and Sirius declined comment, although Sirius CEO Joe Clayton told analysts last month that a contract buyout "is indeed a possibility."

Oh I forgot to add that I got in this at $3.00 on 9-29-04.
If I remember correctly it was bouncing on that day
and I ended up getting in about .20 over the days
close.

Also I bought more yesterday at a low of $3.7984.

So I'm riding this all with you.

SIRI radios now selling at Target, Stern goes on Letterman to pitch SIRI tomorrow night, high end vehicles starting to factory install their product.

This stock has been good to me lately.

I still see SIRI as both a good short-term and long-term play. Wouldn't be surprised if the pps broke the $5 barrier and then broke for another short run tomorrow. What do you guys think?

Oh, and one more thing...what does "eom" or "em" mean?

THANKS...
~River
eom (whatever that means)

WOW.....this thing is on fire on the after our trading. It's at 5.70 right now after it closed at 4.72.

Got in at 4.37 and might consider selling tomorrow. See how well things go with Stern on Letterman tonight. Keeping fingers crossed.

I'm so mad that I sold my WLSF yesterday before it's big run today...but hey, at least I bought more SIRI!

GO SIRI!

Make sure you all tune in to Letterman tonight.

Also, I think this new CEO is going to do wonders for the PPS...it seems sometimes the big buyers look at management almost more than numbers.

Also, I'm anticipating some great quarterly reports ahead...BIG ones... (but I do expect a couple dips soon)

SIRI is going to gap big time in the morning. They hired Mel Karmazin (Howard Sterns old boss at Viacom who is considered the modern day pioneer of radio) as CEO of SIRI. SIRI is up 18% in after hours trading. I wish I had bought more when I had the chance, but SIRI is going through the roof tomorrow. Hiring Karazin as CEO is bigger than hiring Stern.
