It's definitely getting interesting. There's been a lot of volume since the announcement of the upcoming conference concerning the merger and it's slowly been inching up in the last few days. Good Luck to all.

CareDecision Corp. and Kelly Companies Change Conference Call to November 16

5 November 2004, 3:59pm ET

NEW YORK, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CareDecision Corporation (BB:CDED), a leading Wi-Fi PDA technology provider to the lodging and satellite media industries, and the developer of patent-pending technologies for e-health and EMR applications, today announced it was rescheduling the conference call originally scheduled for Monday, November 8.

Due to a scheduling issue that arose when a joint CareDecision-Kelly business opportunity developed much sooner than expected, the Company has elected to postpone the call until 3 p.m. ET on November 16, 2004 rather than having the respective directors attempt to address the merger issues and terms from cell phones.

Robert Cox, Chairman of Caredecision Corp. commented, "We apologize for any inconvenience this schedule change may cause. However it became clear that running a conference call with the participants connected by cellular phones was not appropriate. Addressing the opportunity that has developed is not one that we would want to delay. As soon as practicable the companies plan to release additional merger news and disclosure."

Volume over 7,500,000 at 11:20 - something is definitely up. Actually I was expecting some positioning before the announcement next week from other investors anyway. If there is a company buy-back involved, makes it that much better

It does seem the rumors must be true about the stock buy back. No other reason that I can see it going down to where it is now. Why would the management not want to buy at a higher price. Go figure.

Walgreen Co. Commits to Ensure Safety of Drug Supply Chain Through RFID/EPC Technology
15 Nov 2004, 10:59am ET
E-mail or Print this story
- - - - -

DEERFIELD, Ill., Nov. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- As part of industry-wide efforts to ensure safety in the drug supply chain, Walgreen Co. (NYSE, Nasdaq: WAG) is participating in programs testing radio frequency identification (RFID) and electronic product code (EPCs) technologies.

"Today's announcement by the FDA to encourage manufacturer use of RFID and EPC tags will allow us to gain more practical experience using these technologies," said Walgreens CIO Trent Taylor. "The potential to electronically track and trace product at the bottle level through the entire drug supply chain offers great promise toward eliminating counterfeit medications. Although significant steps remain before these systems can be fully implemented, we know our goals can be reached."

Walgreens is participating with manufacturers and distributors in an industry program called Jumpstart, the goal of which is to drive the implementation of RFID and EPC technology. As part of one Jumpstart project, Walgreens received prescription products from several manufacturers and a distributor with RFID tags placed on bottles and cases. The project demonstrated it was possible to track and trace bottle-level movement of drug products throughout the supply chain to ensure it's coming from a legitimate source.

"We're hopeful today's FDA announcement will encourage more companies to become involved in these efforts so that technical issues can be resolved even faster," said Taylor.

Walgreen Co. is the nation's largest drugstore chain with fiscal 2004 sales of $37.5 billion. The company operates 4,623 stores in 44 states and Puerto Rico and plans to open about 450 new stores in fiscal 2005. The company also operates Walgreens Health Initiatives, a pharmacy benefits manager, Walgreens Mail Service, Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy and Walgreens Home Care.

Wal-Mart is supposed to be looking into the same technology. Be nice if CDED gets one or both.

What were the positives?
What is happening short-term vs. long-term?
Is it worth accumulating more shares?

Hey Marv,
The conference call was great and very positive. The ceo, Ron Kelly, made it clear they would be striking very soon in this RFID pharma business....says there's very little competition now. CDED was represented at Bushs' pharmaceutical conference the other day....Mr. Kelly seems very excited about the gov contract that may materialize from the conference. Kelly co's customers are pharmas like Abbott, Roche and Tap. He's been in this business for about 25-30 yrs and is pretty much "inside" the loop. They stressed that there will be less dilution than previously though, and that they plan to move to larger exchange eventually once this business can support a good share price. They will be getting 10mil financing effective day of conference, and The Kelly co's already make about 12mil a month. This is IMO a reverse merger, with some dilution...which IMO is to be expected since they are merging 5 co's together. Also they said CDED will retain 45-49% of stock although CDED is the smaller co. Mr. Kelly offered to buy us out if that's what we wanted. Another thing Mr Kelly will hold preferred shares that can never be converted or transferred.
I was very impressed with Mr. Kellys vision for this company and his wishing to get going quickly on it. He also made it very clear that this was his biggest opp to date(he's already very succesful) and that he will be the one to lead and generate the new business. From what I understand he knows Bush personally, hence his enthusiasm for the gov't contract. I have bought 300k more since conference call. They are still in "quiet period" but prs should be forthcoming in the next few weeks.
Good luck Marv

Sarah

Footnote...my plan is to hold my shares for a long time..I researched RFID co's the other day and there was one with 335mil float (UIS) that trades for over 10.00 pps.
Mr Kelly said all CDED wants is 10% of the 11/2 TRILLION dollar rfid pharma business worldwide.

Sarah,
Thanks for all the great info.
I am waiting for some of my so-called "potential" stocks to pay off and could buy more of CDED.
I do not daytrade and its hard watching the recent run-ups, I've been trying to swing-trade to no great effect.
I'm into UGHO (waiting for the big PR of sales to get it moving), SHGY could be big with mobile access to the net even though Microsoft just got back into the search engine business, QBID has been a bust so far but hoping for some run-up, and SWYC could eventually be quite profitable if they obviously get contracts.

I bought SHGY last week. UGHO I am still holding 1/2 my shares waiting for good things from them. QBID I bought many moons ago for .01...so I may end up taking the loss on that one. Do you have ABTG Marv? I like that one for long term, broadband over powerlines stock that has major holders like Earthlink and Con-Ed on the board.

Sarah,
great to see we are looking at common stocks.
Hopefully we can both make a killing.
I use to play the NASDAQ the past few years and lost money playing the telecommunications field, very hard to figure it all out, especially with the FCC decisions, also the big boys move slowing buying equipment (I had CORVIS who has the best leading-edge optical switching technology) but the big carriers have a monopoly.
Wimax and Wifi will be huge.
ALVR - Wimax producer - is pricey but making gains.
The one I like on the pink sheets, its around a buck, is CLYW - Calypso Wireless- who I had earlier but would like toget back in, they have patented technology that hands off communications between cell phones and wifi networks without loss of communication and less costly for carriers. They had a lot of PR's earlier this year to no effect and being a PK stock you never know what to think. It recently ran when they won an award.
I am learning that it doesn't matter if the company actually produces anything, it only matters that some other sucker believes it more than you and buys your asking price.
But for investments, longer term which I prefer, its best if they are for real and have a unique leading-edge technology.
I also like ITCV, plastics recycling, that will r/s soon and then I'll buy back in, I could buy now but I think the price will receed after the r/s. They will have their first plant up and running in a few months but will probably sell more shares to fund operations.
Also I like PLKC that I think is at bottom and just waiting for a big PR that they've sold many units in Mexico. The should be out in the US soon to the consumer market, there was an article today in the NY Times about tracking kids off of school buses.
Also in another article, MapQuest just finished mapping Brazil and Argentina and mentioned PLKC themselves.
Since they have a bilingual website with Mexico hopefully on board they could be a big player in South America.

Also what may you buy SHGY?

also take a look at WLSF, holding steady as it progresses to become a cigarette manufacturer by April, 2005.
most shares are held by insiders.
They had big news after the bell that may prove out.
It may be best to buy some now as I think the price will move steadily up as it reaches April-2005.

Also where do you live in Florida?
I lived in Tampa many years ago and my folks now live in Naples.

HI,I had been watching SHGY for awhile and when it pulled back got in. I think any search engine has potential...after google and yahoo...
I live in central FL, near orlando. Used to live in S. Florida...it sure is cold up here compared to there. Never seen the west coast of Fl although I've heard its nice.
