3DIcon Corporation Hails Extension of LambdaRail
June 07, 2004 09:42:00 AM ET

National Fiber-Optic Network to Aid University of Oklahoma's Pursuit of Digital Holographic Technology

TULSA, Okla., June 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- 3DIcon Corporation (OTC Pink Sheets: TDCP), a communications development company, today hailed the extension to Tulsa of the ultra-fast National LambdaRail network.

"This is wonderful news for the University of Oklahoma (OU) and our combined effort to develop digital holographic technology," said a spokesperson for 3DIcon. "Tulsa is now on a par with the best research and development communities from New York to California. And, as far as we know, we're the only place in the world focused on the development and commercialization of portable digital holographic technology."

The National LambdaRail Consortium (NLR) announced last week that Tulsa will be one of the six new members of its ultra-fast fiber network. According to the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, NLR is a major initiative of U.S. research universities and private-sector technology companies to provide a national-scale infrastructure for research and experimentation in networking technologies and applications. NLR aims to enable research to be done in ways that are currently not possible. Further, it will reenergize innovative network research that goes beyond Internet technologies and will enable all layers of network research and development, application-level experiments and production traffic to coexist on the same infrastructure. This initiative will move Oklahoma to the forefront of high-end research.

Robert Richardson, professor of physics and Cornell University's vice provost for research, concluded, "This makes possible research that people haven't even thought of yet."

"I met with OU's Dr. James Sluss immediately after NLR's announcement," said 3DIcon's CEO Martin Keating. "He had one of those ear-to-ear smiles."

Thanks REPOMAN!!

This company should be huge. They have invented a technology like no other. I am hearing rumors on other boards about certain retail manufactures in talks with them already. They have also stated they should file their 1st revenue statement by end of year and their float is super low, which makes them a golden in the PK world.

There is a lot of information about this company on there website. Do your own DD and don't make a buy/sale on my opinion.

3DIcon is a development company whose mission is to pursue, develop and market full-color, 360-degree display technology that is simple and portable. The company has engaged the University of Oklahoma to research and develop the revolutionary technology through a Sponsored Research Agreement (SRA).

The University of Oklahoma is releasing a series of patents protecting the technology in 2006. 3DIcon intends to manufacture products for certain markets and license its technology for others.

Can anyone comment on the validity of a $10 pps?

I originally bought this at .036 in March of last year and sold after a couple of months, got tired of waiting on it.

That's my biggest problem, no patience. Would have been up X80 now.

That was an expensive lesson, now if I don't forget it. GLTA

That is what is appetizing about this stock.

VERY LOW FLOAT, which is hard to find in penny land.
