TTR Technologies Announces Name Change to Amedia Networks at Annual Stockholder Meeting

TTR Technologies, Inc. is focused on delivering Ethernet solutions to the fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) broadband access market. The Company's solutions provide high-performance, scalable and reliable customer premises, access aggregator and central office products, enabling high-speed Internet access, video applications and voice-over Internet protocol (VoIP) services to end customers. As the result of a licensing agreement with Lucent Technologies, TTR plans on bringing Ethernet and IP/MPLS (multi-protocol label switching) products and solutions to the optical access market. These solutions will address the voice, video and data market for FTTP applications. The Company's technologies are a result of focused research, design and development efforts by Bell Laboratories, and will provide quality of service (QoS) and a scaleable system to the broadband access market. TTR provides services for service providers, municipalities and new homebuilders worldwide that wish to satisfy the demand for video, data and voice services.
TTR's solution includes customer premise equipment, designed to be located at the user's home or office to enable ultra-broadband access; a distributed access switch, designed to be located between the central office/head end and the end user location, and an Ethernet MPLS switch designed to be located at the central office/head end of the service provider. Together, these three components are designed to provide the communication protocols, software and hardware to implement a service provider's voice, video and data service package using Ethernet access technology. The system is designed for maximum reliability, scalability, QoS and bandwidth requirements for demanding users.
