I noticed this, too! Why the sudden surge in volume/price? This late rise is surely gonna gap on Monday, I bet. Then what? It goes to .17 like last October? Anything remotely close to that would be awesome. I'm gettin' in.

ka-ching, the stock has a history. It went pretty high last year, then there was some news about some convertible debentures (conversion of debt into stock), which lessened interest in the stock, because of chances of the number of stock shares increasing. However, all that never happened, an the convertible debentures that were going to be retired on May 7th, which apparently they were. If I'm correct there was no dilution, which means there will be no more shares released into the market. So interest in the stock resumed.

And this is the good thing: the stock only has a 20 million float, which for a sub penny is extremely low. This stock is an excellent ride, as you can see it has the potential to go to 17 cents from under a penny. This is why investors like to play this stock, even if you get in under 10 cents, you'll profit.

I think UVCL's sub-penny days are over. I got partially filled today @ 0.017, and will be hoping to get in Monday morning. Don't quote me on this, but with the CD issue out of the way, this stock looks like it will be back to trading at around 12-15 cents like the old days.

I posted this message on the other UVCL topic board, im pasting it here too, since it bears relevance:
I think many people are new to this stock, but I have been following it since last year. From observing it closely, I dont think this is a long term investment stock, but it can be extremely profitable for a quick two to three day play, because of the way it shoots up with the slightest buying. The new thing about UVCL is that the CD issue is out of the way. The prospects of UVCL going up like this after May 7th were always high, since the CD issue was to be decided by May 7th. Well the CD's expired, and the dilution never occured, and the interest is back. Might be worth the risk, if it goes to 15/17 cents, which it has the potential to do, this will be a 10-15 bagger. Just play short term, a like two or three days, and you should be good. If its too risky, dont play All in my humble opinion.

babygirl, its difficult to answer this one. The difficutly is this: If what we're thinking is correct, then this stock is repeating its major ride like last year, and is headed towards a high price, last year it was 17 cents. So then, isn't anything under 17 cents a good entry price? I'm not saying that is the case, I'm just saying that if its headed pretty high, then instead of playing it by price, I would play it by - the sooner you get in, the better.

I think its all about stabilization: Most stocks with a float as low as this (22 million) and an average volume of 1 million, trade at around 10 - 20 cent range. The only reason UVCL was down this long was because they were thinking about dilution, whihc never happened and was confirmed by the company. They just confirmed the no dilution last week, and that is why the stock has started going back up.

80% up on most stocks is a lot. But for a stock like UVCL which is trying to return to its normal trading range of 10 - 20 cents, I believe this is only the beginning. Normal stocks rise 80% over the whole ride. Great stocks start off with a of 80% ! all im trying to say is, based on factual info about this stock, i see potential for it to go back to 17 cents or above. It has done so before, why wouldnt it do so right now? No stake in it yet, but am definitely buying Monday

Monday count me in ... No way in hell I'm missing a ten bagger no matter what anyone says. And I mean that in the most serious way possible.

All i have to say is i rode this stock last year, when it was on its mega ride towards 17 cents. I had entered at 12 cents, and got out at 15.5, 16. All i'm pointing out is an immense oppurtunity here, take it or leave it kinda deal.

breakout price: I personally feel if it breaks 2 - 2.5 cents tomorrow, this is a confirmed breakout. That just my opinion. Beyond that price, there should be crazy buying, plus the MM's covering their shorts, plus the fact that everyone's watching for the run to 17 cents again, it should be crazy. My philosophy with this has been to get in as early as possible to be able to maximize profits.

babygirl, basically i dont see much resistance on this stock at any one price. I think the only reason it hasn't gone higher, is because the the market closed on Friday. I personally think its waiting to pounce, and if it breaks out like it did last year, it'll break through all the resistances. Now i know you want a definite answer. I believe that a breakout stock keeps shooting up through all the resistances, so the sooner you get in the better. If it goes as high as 12 cents, then maybe id be a little apprehensive about getting in, coz the selling might start, so if ur not experienced, then be cautious after 12 cents. until then, ur good to go, strictly in my opinion.

What do you suggest as a price to get in since I will not be home tomorrow and will be at work? What entry and what exit price? I will put in a order for the price it is at now, but what exit price? Thanks

I'm not advising you to necessarily do this, but I'm gonna wait for Tuesday before I exit. I think Tuesday will be the real pop, as members on this forum, and others have suggested. Tuesday should be MM buyback day, plus i expect to see much more buying. This is just my opinion.

in a stock as volatile as UVCL, its hard to predict the exit price, this will probably move up really fast, in my humble opinion.
