I started with MyTradz, its only 200.00 to open an acct. I really like there service, i am well pleased. But have opened an acct at Freetrade, 5000.00 to open, but better commisions. I feel a bit bad for leaving MyTradz. Of all i have tried or looked at these are my choices. Ken

I trade my sisters and nieces accounts at Mytradz and love the service. I use Freetrade for my main trading account and the service is all by email and God forbid you should have a problem. The price works out to about $1 a trade for insanely active traders. Also the record keeping at Freetrade is more difficult because the portfolio screen doesn't show the purchase prices. If you trade a lot you will get a little frustrated having to keep track of prices manually. I also trade Etrade and love the service, the screens are great and trades are 9.99 if you trade frequently. I have scottrade for some other accounts and $7 trades are good but pinks have to be called in for $22+ and OTC are limit orders for $12+. Good customer service though and my account there is very small. They have no inactivity fees which for smaller accounts which may be important.
