Anyone watch the race yesterday. On one of the tech segments Jeff Hammond had a product that was a paint or coating that was a fire retardant. I think he called it either PTR or TPR. Anyhow I was trying to look for the company that made it because it was good stuff. Just an investment idea. There is a company by the name of Transpro (TPR symbol) but all I can see that they sell are radiators. Thanks

Hey Timberman, the guy who's inventing that stuff is the same guy who tried build the bear-proof suit, that might make it easier.

I guess he gave up fighting bears and now he's fighting fire. lol, I'd rather fight the bear.

Jeff didnt win the race, if Nascar didnt have those crappy rules, Jr would have taken it for sure, he was only feet from taking the lead back anyways... I like Jeff too but that was Jrs race.

Who needs politics when you have Nascar??

Actually inside of 10 laps they shouldn't be counting caution laps. Just think of it. You and your wife or partner or whatever pay $70+ per ticket each, plus hotel and gas and driving expense to see a race end under caution. I don't care who wins as long as it done the right way. But that was no way to treat your customers which is what Nascar fans are.

yeah, i saw it and i didn't search the product cuz i was forcing myself to take some time off last weekend--it does look like one worth looking into. the demo they did with the torch was very impressive, as a glass blower i am familiar with a lot of these types of products but that is the first polymer(i assume) based one that i have seen .....

i like the short tracks the best and #20 needs to be reminded when he is at a superspeedway that people can and do die, tony needs to be sent to time out..---Jimmie Johnson gave him a dose of his own medicine let's see what happens next time tony is behind him....--LOL

i shouldn't be reading this during working hrs..LOL
i agree...no caution laps laps count after 10 or better 20 to go.......this red flagging or finishing under caution is BS....
also get rid of the restrictor plates, and put a rear end gear limit on them....that way they won't pack up, some will try overdrive xmissions and and others will work on higher RPMS--both would improve the state of the art...
