I would appreciate any opinions...Glass, PG,et all. Heres a little DD. They seem to be on their way to getting out of debt. http://finance.yahoo.com/q/is?s=EMRG&annual
eMerge Interactive, Inc (EMRG) is primarily involved in food safety and animal tracking. Their main source of revenue in the past was cattle marketing, but last year they disposed all of their cattle operations to focus on food safety and supply chain management. Last month they announced a new product at the Food Safety Summit in D.C. Its a Hand-scanning Hygiene system. I believe it was featured on the front page of the Florida Today this past weekend, but I didnt get a chance to read it. Anyway, heres a link to the article which was released about a month ago. http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/040309/fltu005_1.html
I would appreciate any input any of you may have on this. Thanks Masters

i am seeing discreapncies between the Yahoo report and the SEC filings.... i rarely use yahoo... anybody got an explanation for this? the SEC filing actually looks better than the yahoo report.... shows revenues climbing after dropping since 2000--- and 03 was better than the previous two years ----- lots of complicated insider trades too.... some private placements at 3$ a share(current PPS 2.22$) tell me to do more looking..... still operating at a(DECREASING) loss tho....

My 2 cents worth, after luckily escaping EMRG once before, is that Mad Cow is no longer an issue anymore. No one pays attention to the Mad Cow news stories anymore because nothing bad has happened.
It's sort of become the boy that cried wolf syndrome. It takes big news in this area to budge these stocks relating to mad cow. I'm not even enthused with RFID anymore.

Well, Taiwain decided to pull all US beef off the markets on Friday, and re-impose the ban on importing US beef. The lifted the ban 2 months ago, then reimposed it on Friday.
Japan was considering opening back up to US beef imports, but after the Friday news, they thought better of it.
I know that they are overreacting, but that's not my call. One cow with the disease, c'mon. They are a little rediculous.
