Anyone know anything about this stock?GLENDALE, Ariz., Mar 29, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- CEI Entertainment, Inc. (CEEM.PK) announced a 3:1 forward stock split effective April 5, 2004. The format of this split is a 2 for 1 (200%) dividend payout made after April 5, 2004 to be mailed directly to the shareholders, or credited to their brokerage accounts. For example, purchasers of 1000 shares by the close of business on April 5 will have 3000 shares after the split.
Chairman and CEO, James Rosin said, "This action will allow the company more flexibility in attracting investment activity, since it should make the stock more affordable and liquid. We anticipate that this will help to fund the company's numerous major film and television projects. We feel that in this manner we can generate even more shareholder value in the future," he concluded.
