Wait...Purl Gurl is a female. I thought it was Purl Gurl aka Pearl Guru, like the computer language. See, I'm in the IT field and I work on Linux/Unix/Solaris/and NT boxes (servers); so I thought I was talking to a male.
PG...sorry about that. I had no idea you were a female. This makes our conversations more interesting.
-I still respect you and still await your replies-
beginner, how do you think this stock will play? Do you believe it will dip down? If so, how much? Also what is your price target for this stock in 1, 2, or 3 months? Thanks for the heads up beginner.

Chart Chaser, you said it. I believe I was thinking to hard on "HER" name. Anyhow, looking over all the topics Purl Gurl posted, it looks like I wasn't the only one thinking it's a male.
It looks like beginner also thought PG was a male at one point.

As my name shows, I'm pretty new to the pennies, micros. I've had this since $0.18 and have accumulated more on the dips. I now have 50,000 @ 0.34. I think it will dip a bit into the low to mid .90's, but when some hard facts about the financials of this company come out (and are good), I think it will be a sweet ride up. I'm hoping for mid to high $1 in a few months, with good financial news...maybe touching 2's??...idunno. JMO though, I'm new to the otc/pinks.

More good News! Verges upped his projections again...."We have recently increased our 2004 sales forecast to $37 million and I anticipate we will have to raise our projections as the year progresses. DCI has over $18 million currently in their sales pipeline and we are conservatively forecasting only $5 million in sales, based mostly on contracts already awarded." http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/040309/95608_1.html

Thanks rajarammx a.k.a Raja. But let me correct you and say that IPVO opened at 1.005 and dropped before news came out at Tuesday March 9, 10:31 am ET, which caused the stock to go up and back down like a yo-yo. If you notice, the stock had low trading today, before news came out, IPVO had traded -+900,000 shares. After the news came out, the volume of IPVO instantly went up to 1.3 million.
Purl Gurl, I'm monitoring this stock very close and will try to get in on a dip. I'm trying to get 105,000 shares - 114,000, depending on the company news and execution price I put in.
Let's see how this plays out...hopefully in my favor.
Thanks everyone for his or her positive feedback and advice.

I only have 9000 shares & holding them....this company has potential, I saw that when I bought in but ignored it when I did the mistake of selling 10000 at 0.44 with a loss....

rajarammx, 9000 shares is better then nothing.
Trust me...this stock will go to 1.50 within month(s).
I was right about PFSW when it was at .65, I was right about EAG when it was at .50.
And I'm right about IPVO.
There will be some dips but hold on.
*****IMPORTANT****** Unlike other companies, IPVO likes to inform there investors every week or two. Within the past three months, they've been publishing great information about their company (almost every 12 days).
Hold on rajarammx, hold on...and remember I said this and posted this reply!
"I'm still trying to buy 105,000 shares at .91 to .915."
Purl Gurl wrote,
"I would wait for IPVO to retreat to prices of .83 to .86 which it will do, in time, in lieu of any news which pushes prices up."
IPVO is currently trading at .86 per share.
I will urge readers to wait and watch before investing in IPVO stock. It is possible IPVO will dip to .80 to .81 per share, perhaps lower in response to bad market conditions.
I could be wrong. Be careful and do not allow my opinion nor opinions of others to strongly sway your decision.

Logically, this news today would decrease share value. However, this news should excite investors, driving prices up, but this is not a certainty because poor market conditions are deflating prices.
Investors are not known for being logical.
This is my perspective on this news.
"XIPTEL has already beta-tested their first customers and has now begun scaling up their sales and marketing effort...."
They would be considered a research and development stage company. As such, major expenses are to come. Those expenses should result in a 10Q reflecting losses because of loan funding and capital outlay. They have no track record of profits, thus, there are no indicators of future success.
"IDC (www.idc.com) puts 2003 hosted VoIP revenue at $281 million and projects $6.7 billion by 2007. We felt it prudent to increase our XIPTEL equity position at this time."
A reader will note Slippery Semantics at play. IPVO is citing financial figures for the entire industry, which look very impressive. Gullible investors inherently will associate those figures with IPVO, rather than compare IPVO performance with the industry as a whole.
What is not discussed, is the potential of this new company. IPVO elected to cite collective financial figures rather than comment on the financial status of this acquired company.
IPVO is doing pretty good, this cannot be argued. They are also displaying typical tactics of spin doctors. This is not good.
My opinion is IPVO is securing a geographic region market place, rather than investing in what is suggested to be a successful company with hinted promises of profit.
Tactics like this, Slippery Semantics and frequent fluff news, is often used to increase share value which, in turn, affords a greater ability for a company to attain loan funding. This need for loan funding is indicative of a company low on cash and not generating enough net profit to finance projects.
Bob Frey commented on investors investing on emotions. Pretty sure IPVO will continue to display emotional bandwagon investing leading to overall price increases in the future, with a possible bubble burst when logical investors dominate the IPVO market bringing prices back down to reality.
