* scrapes something off her foot bottom *Phewww....
You really don't want to follow in the
footsteps of a barefoot Okie girl.
These bandwagon things, they are certainly
a problem. I don't mind when the boys get
all hyped up and run stock prices up, on
a stock we already own. Heh!
Yes, you are very astute in your observations.
Too much hype does ruin a stock. Many of us
simply will not invest in a stock when there
is a lot of pumping going on.
There are some good reasons for this. Right
off, I think "scam" and move on. Another
problem is hype and pump, bandwagons, toss
technicals right out the window. Prices
become artificially inflated and you can
no longer project anything!
Those bandwagons, like this stock, you have
to jump in right off, and jump out within
one or two days, maximum. I don't like that.
Mad Cow, Moon Stock, Nano, ok, those run
for quite awhile, but not this PGHI junk.
There are two moderating forces at play.
On one side are the pumpers. On the other
side are the shorters.
Pumpers drive a price up. Shorters know the
price is artificial and start shorting the
stock, driving prices down fast and hard.
End result, investors are caught with their
pants down, original pumpers might make some
money, but the shorters _always_ make money.
I plan to write an article on this new NASD
rules and the SEC "SHO" rule to come. Those
two rules will devastate the markets. In a
nutshell, shorters are out. What is left?
Only the pumpers. Not good. Between the NASD
and the SEC, within a year, economic chaos
in the stock markets.
We must have both shorters and pumpers, or
must have neither of them. Cannot have
one and not the other.
Yes girlfriend, pumpers do destroy all
credibility of a stock, very much so.
Those boys don't seem to realize they
are doing more harm than good.
Know what really annoys me? You read the
same garbage, over and over and over and
over.... and over again. Same news reports,
same technicals, same fundamentals, over
and over and over, not to mention,
"BUY! BUY! BUY!"
Multiplied by ten thousand. Jeeeshhh...
I swear some of those boys are immature
teenagers. I just know it. Dang, when
I was teenager, I busted my butt just
to save up money to buy a cheap bicycle.
Broken records, one and all.
Until you write something they don't want
to read. This you discovered.
Hey, can you believe that guy pumping
that Greater China stock? You would
think he would get a clue and move on!
Boys!
