Looking back over some of these posts, the current news and a little background check, I am thinking they have increased stability. This latest news from the 15th let's us know that the three wells are set adn the preliminaries are looking good. All we need to here about now is an entry into the gas layer and this should really take off. Still a gamble but I think a good one especially with the Guld situation.

was disappointed to see the mild move up today. as i suspect purl may be also, was sitting on the bid the last several days. trying to stay .001 above purl, of course, *snicker*.
DVPC not following a logical pattern. natural gas incredibly bullish, DVPC releases promising news, so what does the stock do? goes down.
right or wrong, i'm often a buyer when illogical patterns happen. we'll see how it goes for DVPC, still holding a small amount and sitting near the bid for a little more.

wow, have been busy at work lately and completely missed this. major crash for DVPC today, fell off a cliff for a 40% crash on huge 240k share (that is - huge for DVPC) volume.
hmm, so - wtf happened, is the obvious question?
trying to search for clues - no news of any sort. as was pointed out earlier by krysten and others: most recent news actually looks good.
so - looking to the trading, to try to find a clue. was actually pretty stable for awhile, then today we have:
0.051 16520 OTO 15:54:35 0.06 35000 OTO 15:54:24 0.051 46250 OTO 15:53:57 0.06 22600 OTO 15:52:15 0.0611 2100 OTO 15:52:13 0.0611 12900 OTO 15:52:13 0.065 2100 OTO 15:52:13 0.065 12900 OTO 15:51:25 0.065 5000 OTO 15:51:18 0.06 5000 OTO 15:51:18 0.06 12900 OTO 15:51:17 0.065 14000 OTO 15:51:16 0.06 6000 OTO 15:51:13 0.06 5000 OTO 15:51:13 0.06 5000 OTO 15:50:55 0.075 10000 OTO 15:43:38 0.075 5000 OTO 11:47:26 0.08 22200 OTO 11:47:23 0.075 2000 OTO 09:39:11
the obvious guess is that 15 min before close someone unloaded a huge position on the market, with indifference to the price he or she sold it at. pretty much: "sell this at any price", and the MM's took it down.
so - why would one dump a huge position in a hurry?
guess there's really 2 possible likely answers:
1. some tool panicked for no good reason, perhaps over the broader minor pullback in o+g juniors today, and dropped it all in a "market order sell", perhaps to buy RVMN before the warrant deadline (*snicker*)
2. someone who *knew something* dumped it all, for good reason
so - which is it: door #1, or door #2?
me, i admit i have no idea. really no different than a poker game: either somebody is bluffing, or they really do hold that full house. we as general public investors - hard to have any idea. could be a great buy now if it's door #1, but - if gas flow rates came out poorly and somebody who "knew something" sold (ie door #2) - then perhaps not a good buy now.

I do not have a large enough position to really be too concerned about this action, though I was. If it is door #2 maybe a buy out is coming? Again, I revert back to my previous post. I have only seen good news, they have money, have financing and none of the CEO's has any dirt in their background. Maybe someone got tired of sitting on nothing??? I am thinking more option 1 to get themselves into a money- maker.

Also, it may not help that the whole sector is down/ flat. The prices will rise soon IMO because of an early winter already hitting in many parts of the country and the world- i.e. 6 inches of snow in Wyoming already and we are not through with hurricane season...

Yeah, yeah, I am so perfect! Never a mistake although my 2005 taxes report a $11,000 loss.
Three of us vested in DVPC have agreed we will hold DVPC and take a chance on more upward motion.
Eventually, DVPC should report all wells are connected to the market pipeline. They have a lot of proven reserves but are still working at building market pipelines.
I am most curious to learn of revenues.
Personally, several times today, I filled out buy orders then backed out. I am very tempted to buy more DVPC.
Picked up a bunch more IESV at .056 to .060 today.
Sold CHID. I think it is topped out for awhile.
Beginning to look like this might shape up to be a decent market year.
