Here's 4 of my picks that might make something happen early 2007. IOW you might wish to get a small position now before any news breaks in Janurary. WSCE /Westcorp Energy 43M s/o float at 37M. Has an interest in technology that converts heavy oil to lighter weight. Possible pilot plant in the heart of the oil sands region. Also has technology of a gas measuring devise at wellhead that is the most advanced, called Flowstar 1000. They recently opened a office in Houston for its american dist. Trades at .46
Next is TIDE /Tidelands Oil and Gas 84M/64M float. Has several subsidiaries, most important being the LNG terminal, looking to develope a terminal off the mexican/Texan boarder in the gulf. Also is considering a LNG terminal off the Cal coast, this is iffy. Trades at .36
Next is PFCE /Pacific Fuel Cell. 69/float at 32M. has a patent on a certain fuel cell that does not require titanium in its manufacturing process. Something to do with nano carbon coating. With news recently that Japn will begin production in 2010 on a fuel cell line of autos, this stock has moved from .22 to currently .26
PTSG/Petrosearch Energy 31M/28M float. Has various properties, most important of which are in Texas. Just acquired 100% owenership in a 2.5MCFD well for $12M, by default of payments from the other partner. But the big deal here is its barnetshale play. Has a 5% net WI with a co that is a subsidary of EXXON. Story goes that ROck Energy, a drilling/engineering co requested rights to use the pipeline running through the heart of the BS play. Exxon was unawre that it even owned this decades old pipeline, so agreed to a deal if Rock energy could come up with 25M. Rock got the funds from PTSG, and so came in through the back door, which Exxon didn't take too well at the first. But the deal has now been set and the first 7 wells will report sales in Q1/07. 5% isn;t much, but the potential is huge and PTSH has such a small cap. trading at .80
Another pick for 2007, but is trading under the .11 mark of this forum, is MENV, Micron Envio System has 350M s/o. Its a oilsands in exploratory stage. If you look at the chart it has a nice run this time last yr and has started to move again. Notice how little vol moved the stock up 100% in 2 weeks. Comapred to last yrs vol.
