my wife has some unique requirements for her workspace, she need insect quarantine to contian her creations....
here's a shot of some mosquitoes that someone else is taking credit for in this article:

I had more of a problem with the Navy guys than anyone else. Those seabees were always hanging some Go Navy football sign everywhere we went it seemed like. The part that sucked was that Army was and still sucks at football!

to be honest, i've never understood the mystique to golf. I had a neighbor who was a big golfer and bowler. One day he convinced me to go to the UM (Maryland) course to play withim. I've played minitautr golf a couple times 'fore that. Now he like to bet alot, i would be willing to bet he still has the gambling problem, but anyway he wanted to bet 10$ per hole. I agreed having never taken a stroke with a driver. I tole him he 'ad to take me to the driving range for a couple buckets first. he borrowed me is clubs and he took his dads..
After two buckets i was ready. I made four pars and four whatever you call it when you go one over par and one hole blew with three. he took me off the course after the first nine and wouldn't speak to me for weeks.. apparently he needed 150$ and was thinking he'd get it off me and had to quit at 100 down and was in some sort of other trouble... golf is simply focus... like pool or shootng rifle, and esp archery, evn hitting a baseball. details matter in all these sports, it's all about grip and relaxing and letting the world flow right into your eyes and Knowing. The crackpot on caddy shack was right, be the ball, be the bat, be the arrow be the lead....whne i am blowing galss? i let everything else just go away and i become one wotht eh glass..hunting is not about killing. it's more about being part of nature and choosing your dinner form a bigger grcoery store...everything you eat got killed for you, hunting is about taking more repsonsibility for your actions... there's no glory in the kill itself, but i amgoing ot have to butcher some of my pet chickens soon. got too many and people don't want 'em... i'll do it right and eat 'em even tho i raise each one up from a one inch tall chick

its way more than be the ball..grip..focus..relaxing..way more. tho, those do play a part. Its more about technique, timing, skill, patience, repitition, coordination, practice and experience. u r right in saying focus..which is the same as be the ball. One fraction of a millimeter will influence the outcome negatively. Ive been playing 48 yrs and still have much to learn. Ive hit a few perfect shots, but never a perfect game. The game is solely about you and only you. nothing else matters. Its could be the most difficult sport to play well. Ive played them all,mostly. excelled in many. I'm a natural athlete. no brag, just fact. whether u understand the mystique of the game has no bearing on its validity as a sport. The folks who dis golf..I understand fully...they cant play well. Once u get to be good at it, its a different egg altogether. Its no fun to continually hit bad shots and so frustration sets in and u begin to make fun of the game and ppl who play it.

i assumed he was joking. maybe i was wrong.
if you kill something? it's yours. you have a responsibity. just as if you save something like a cat or a shelter dog. if you killed it expecting to feel strong or powerful you deserve to feel bad.

one more thing, i really do apreciate the invites. i never expected to be in MS for more than five years. I was under the asssumption that we got temporarily parked her eout of convenince to the people my wife works for, but soemthing odd happened. they figured out that my wife is really smart about bugs and really dumb about picking husbands so they are trying to keep her and take all her ideas for themselves, we are not impressed, and we are slowly but surely building a case that will only end when we get what we want. and we are not even sure what we want righ tnow, so they are in a littleb bit of bind. my wife is meticulous note-taker and documenter, that is the first requirement of being a researcher. you must be able to duplicate everything precisley. these people are sloppy and careless. they have left a path of evidence a mile wide and mile deep for us to sort thru to make the case. research is not reverse engineering, i have like five patents i am looking a tthat that were prolly fraudulent but at minimum are nothing more than reverse engineering f other people work. they xcrewed the little tiny dog when they messed with us...

I don't play the private courses,,pompous asses is right.. cant stand the clothes and don't wear em. I usta play in a pr of shorts and nothing else. The public courses don't like that anymore. I grew up on a course and played all the time. At 12 yrs old I was hitting it as well as the adults. People would stand around me just to watch. It was a trip for sure. So I tend to get defensive when golf is diminished ..and when I get defensive, I get mean...I'm working on that problem. So forgive me if I come off as too aggressive.

it's all good JR... i get defensive when people tell me nascar is 'just" turning left... one PSI of air difference in one tire can mean the difference between winning and bein' 30th.... and they all sweat bullets every time they go into turn at 200 mph... don't beleive that no fear chit, it's really all about managing your panic...

Glass is spot on about hunting and responsibility. The difference between hunters and anti-hunters is that hunters take the responsibilty of killing their own food, while anti-hunters (a.k.a. hypocrites) hire someone else to do the killing/cleaning for them...
You really should try it JR...it is good for the soul, much more challenging than golf and may even help with that aggression issue...
