I cant believe this, its like politics in college sports. DECADES of abuse being covered up. Some of this is hard to watch. I wonder what is going to happen to the university. Donors and alumni have got to be very upset. I bet the money starts drying up, and a lot of the recruits will refuse the athletic scholarships.

you might like to jump on the bandwagon of "White Men Hate to Admit they're Wrong."

No? why not? Because it's a Michael Moore thingee?

LOL, cashee, it's not "like" politics in college sports.

It just *is*...

It's about money and privilege, from the get go.

It started *way* before any of us were born, way before most of our ancestors landed on these treasured shores.

Don't get me wrong: I'm neither a Bilderbugger nor Illuminaticist.

That being said? No one can "get" our problem unless said one "gets" the essential class-differnential that drove the settlement of this country.

And, guess what? it was *not* everybody is equal.

you know what's really sad? the same crap goes on over on the academic side of campus too... been right in the middle of some of the worst of it (not child sex abuse, but abuse nonetheless)...

professors cover for each other just like these guys did. Paterno is guilty of looking the other way, i don't care how many games he won.

The people on top punish those of us that speak up when we see something wrong. This guy McQuery that saw the incident in the shower is on ths staff now? Quid Pro Quo? Did he get hired as an asst coach to keep his mouth shut?

How did the cops not charge the guy when he admitted to the mother (while they were eavesdropping) that he hugged an 11 year old in the shower?

Apparently one of DA's that didn't file charges was declared dead last summer.... He just disappeared 7 years ago? .

Kinda reminds you of the wall street thread.

Suit and tie type (good old boys) using their power and influence to get away with pretty much of anything, we even have the protests on campus.

Ok..I have a question for all of you. Do YOU think, that Joe Paterno is in the wrong or the wright? Do you think he was treated fairly or too easily?

I think, given what we have seen...he has some serious answering to do. I dont care how great at coaching football you were if you turned a blind eye to what was going on right under your nose.
