I am in complete belief that Glenn Beck is a moron and the only person that can best him is Palin when she really tries.

lol, I think what he is trying to say is that there are a lot of nieve people out there who think the number of islamic radicals is so small that it will never impact their personal lives. It really is an issue internationally, and the numbers of extremesists are not shrinking they are growing. Social media, and the internet have become a golden recruiting tool for them to get younger and younger recruits.

Now 10% of 1.6 billion is a lot of terrorists! A little on the far end, Beck should have looked up the numbers.

It isn't so much that liberals are ignorant. It's just that they know so many things that aren't so.

that's true, and they are not all Islamic extremists either...

Glen has to keep repeating that he wants peaceful revolution because he knows that he is not really encouraging peaceful behaviour; in fact, he is a hate monger and sooner or later one of his followers is going to do something that nobody will be able to accept.

will that be Glens fault? not really. it will be his producers fault for allowing him to rant on and on in his demented state. I don't even think Glen is in control of his own mind anymore.

The beauty of Glen's position is that he can not lose. If everything that he predicts never comes to pass, he can tell his viewers that they won and succeeded in preventing the fall America.

If he is proven right and all hell he breaks loose; well, he warned us.

I am a beck fan of sorts....Though I don't get to see him much. haven't had TV service in my home for about 6 years so I catch him at the Gym. However, I don't buy everything he says......maybe not even half. Regardless, he does make politicians nervous and I like that about him......cause politicians are the real threat.....and I mean Dems and GOPers.

I wonder how many scandals may have been prevented because when the politician was mulling it over he thought; "I wonder what would happen to me if I got involved in this and Beck found out about it."

The man has a helluva lot of stroke with the American people. Everytime he holds up a book and suggests that it should be read it instantly goes to one of the top five sellers on Amazon..... and that is what makes me nervous about him. I get apprehensive about people that have that kind of draw.....even if well intentioned. Over time, we will see what happens with Beck.

I am not going to defend him any further, but something else that is interesting to think about...... As much hell as he gives politicians, you would think that if they could destroy the image of his character they would have. Outside of some off color comments here and there, they have not been able to cast any serious dispersions on his behaviour/financial dealings/marriage/etc....

Either the dude is about as clean as the driven snow now or nobody is willing to risk making him a martyr.

A little on the far end? LOL! So you think maybe it's only 100MM Muslim terrorists maybe? As opposed to the 160MM Muslim terrorists Beck said? LOL! The actual number is only a fraction of a single percentage point. Yea...he should have looked the numbers up before running his mouth again. A little on the far end? ROFLMAO [BadOne]

haven't had TV service in my home for about 6 years

what are you? a Monk [Razz]

seriously, that's an interesting concept.... i would probably be a happier person if i did that, but somehow i enjoy having my blood pressure go up every so often [Big Grin]

as to Beck being right or wrong? i agree that he is correct about alo tof things, but it's those little "kinks" in the turth that he spins out at you that are so wrong, and when he's wrong it's usually bad wrong...

I get dose of the tube most days while I am at the Gym and its usually Fox News (collective gasp)....but when I do drive to work, the radio is on NPR (I may have split personality disorder).

Honestly, I don't miss it too much. Really the only time that I do miss it is during college football season. Unfortunately, I am a UGA fan.....hasn't been a good year for that either. But when I want to watch the game I just re-schedule my workout for game time and head to the gym at the plant where I work.

I do have a TV.....the old tube style and I have a DVD player. I do the NetFlix thing so I probably take in about 3-4 movies a month......I have actually been watching Carlito's Way for about 3 days now....I watch about 25 minutes and then do something else.

I wouldn't make a very good monk.....too much of a pervert......and I am to hetero to be a priest.....to open about alcohol consumption to me a baptist......hmmmm, perhaps I am methodist?

tunica stinks.

it's nasty, so is greenville. i cannot figure out how a state can call itself "conservative" with casinos in it...

i like poker just fine, played correctly, poker is barely gambling, to be honest you have to admit there's a tiny bit of gambling in the sense that you have to pay to get the cards, and you can always be beat by a player that is just too good to read sometimes your trips are just not good enough and you miss the tell.....

the casino games are all gambling tho, and if that entertains you? drugs and hookers will too...

i don't see any difference between drugs gambling hookers or alcohol....

You really did take what I posted too far out of context there. You know what I meant, and it is pretty clear. I know you dont feel complete without making an attempt to somehow do that.
