Dwayne Wade, Lebron, and Chris Bosh as the new Big 3 for the Miami Heat...I like it. I am biased...I lived in Miami for many years and have attended many games. I don't think they will win the NBA title this year, but they will be the dominant team in the East. The 3 just agreed to 6 year contacts. That does sound like the makings of a dynasty to me. Any thoughts?

Miami vs LA will be a game to watch that is for sure. I was saddened to see how Cleveland responded to Lebron leaving. Its amazing how he is his own little economic engine. BTW no state sales tax in Florida right?

No State Income Tax. But I watched a bit of Lebron's ESPN special. I think he could have done it more tactfully as far as announcing his decision about leaving Cleveland. I actually felt a little bad for Cleveland, until I saw what the Caviliers owner posted. He was right to leave after reading that garbage he posted. I mean...what big star will wanna play there after that very personal attack on Lebron by the teams owner. Sounds like he thought he owned his players. JMO.

And yes...Lakers v Heat will be one to watch....as well as Heat v Celtics with they're "Big 3". Should be an interesting season for sure!

For my money, James shoulda left before now.

Heat will be tough with three of the league's top nine scorers.

Downside: they gotta fill the other spots with vets, for minimum. Some will, some won't...

Tex,

What did you think of Dan Gilbert's post on the Cavs website? Honestly, after reading that...who'd wanna play for him?

They are far from being home free.

Need a bench!

Don't think they have the size with backup.

Lakers have fought every time Bynum goes down and they have more size backup than Miami.

Big question can they play together with all the big ego's, time will tell when crunch time comes up.

Cleveland looked great till crunch time, then we saw the other teams step up.

Lakers looked horrible late in the season, then they steped up for the playoffs.

I am guessing Jacksons last season, would like that 3-peat for his farewell, and i am sure they would like to give it to him.

Will Fisher sign with lakers.

Just a few real good guards out there and he is one of them despite his age, which is a big key.

And the Lakers aren't going to get Nash if they lose Fisher.

Very true. I doubt they will be able to fill all of the holes this year on the bench.

I read that as well. He would be a good addition for perimeter shooting. But gonna be hard to get him away from the Lakers.

right,, fisher is a laker man all the way..imo..one of the best point men in the game...miami will be strong with james....I dont blame him for leaving,,just like i dont blame garrnet for leaving the wolves...these men want to win a championship and its all about them and not the team or being loyal. sad but true...would any of these platers stay if the team didnt provide them with a winning combo?..I doubt it
