A true left wing representative of the current administration. Just look at her attitude, as a servant to the people she could care less how bad she performs in office. While the left still cries over Sarah Palin and tries to smear her, their own is a disaster. Nancy Pelosi is like having a woman in a mall with her sugar daddys credit card. The American tax payer is Nancy's sugar daddy, and Nancy has no problem spending as much as she can. Change you can believe in!

Dont you just love that plastic grin she has that is so fake? BLAH!

Nancy Pelosi on being unpopular: 'I don't care'

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0709/25445.html

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is one of the most despised political figures in the country.

And, frankly, she doesn’t give a damn.

“No, I don’t care,” Pelosi told POLITICO last Thursday, laughing heartily as she walked beneath the Capitol dome and plunged into a crowd of tourists.

Last week’s Public Strategies Inc./POLITICO poll brought grim news for Pelosi, revealing that only a quarter of Americans trust the San Francisco Democrat — putting her in the basement with Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio).

Mention of the “trust” question halted the click-clack of Pelosi’s heels against Rotunda marble, and she turned to face the reporter who posed the question.

“I don’t know about ‘trust’ — I think I’m trusted,” she said.

“I certainly want to be trusted. I’m not particularly concerned if I’m liked.”

But month after month of polling shows that the speaker is neither trusted nor liked by the general public — even as she emerges from one of the most productive legislative periods any speaker has ever enjoyed.

By contrast, Newt Gingrich’s popularity tanked only after his conservative revolution sputtered and he had helped shut down the federal government.

Gallup now measures Pelosi’s unfavorability ratings at 48 percent — with her favorability index registering a paltry 32 percent.

That’s 12 points lower than her numbers were just six months ago, during the first flush days of the Obama administration. And it puts the most powerful woman in the country’s history on a par with Dick Cheney and only a few clicks better than Boehner, an unknown quantity to most Americans.

“Nancy Pelosi is not only vastly unpopular with the American public, but her credibility is waning within her own party,” said Ken Spain, communications director for the National Republican Congressional Committee

You always post such utter biased non-sense. I am truly amazed you survived your tour of duty as a cook in Iraq. Kudos to you for that achievement.

I Was 11B I dont know where you get cook. Second of all, mixing political views with combat operations and somehow saying survival is linked with such just proves where your level of knowledge is.

Apparently you get your news from someplace that thinks Nancy Pelosi is highly regarded. You think I post biased nonsense? If you arent so far up Obama's rear end then quite frankly I dont know who is. Someone lacking in American values really shouldnt be giving military remarks, please refrain.

You've got no clue of my knowledge base little one. I was in the military also. So you need to slow your roll. The cook remark was a joke, kinda like you. Crawl out of GWB's arse for a minute, then wipe your chin. Then maybe you can make a decent post for a change.

PS: I just don't have the skewed value system you do

I dont like GWB so what are you going to make up next, and talking about GWBs arse and wiping my chin then asking me to make a decent post is a little hypocritical.

You say I have no clue of your knowledge base? Does anyone here have a clue? If you put out the best you have then you cant fault me for my conclusion.

Oh and you think your posts are not biased and not nonsense most of the time if not all the time? [Roll Eyes] Most of your threads and/or posts are criticism with no suggestions for reasonable solutions.. hell forget reasonable.. just no suggestions for solutions whatsoever...

And what American values are you talking about? The ones according to your views? We are all Americans and we all have our own interpretation of what "American values" are... and no one is more right then another... it's a personal thing...

and yes Nancy is a despised political figure but so was/is GWB and you didn't Moo then... I wonder why since you say you are not biased...

I've given solutions to problems on this board many of times whether they were good or bad ones.. you rarely do if at all...

the only times i do not give solutions is when i agree with someone elses solutions like Glass's, BF's, Tex's, Pagan's etc... so here's the problems ole black/white one... let's see your reasonable solutions:

1. Economy
2. Education
3. Health

That is just for starters....

Economy? Small businesses that are the lifeblood for small towns should have been the focus of the stimulus. If Obama is some big crusader for the average Joe then you could have fooled me. All I see is big firms getting more money. Look how well that worked out. Meanwhile, small independent employers suffer with higher citigroup interest rates after their tax dollars bail out the ones who screw them. No change from Obama like promised when it comes to big business. When it comes to the whole "going green" hoopla? GE is big big business getting the halliburton presidential treatment when it comes to govt contracts.

Education? Start with the elementary. Pay teachers a lot more than what they are getting because their job sure is a hell of a lot more important than what a lot of people recognize.
We need to focus on rural and inner city rebuilding. When it comes to college, anyone can get a free college education. You have to EARN IT.

Health? Have a government option, and make it illegal to not have private competition so the far left cant erase it. Allow nationwide private insurance competition to lower rates. Im sure theres a ton I didnt cover but im not a doctor nor are you.
