No, actually, it isn't. but they approach it that way and they are trained to think that is the job.
Their job is protecting us and that certainly means that, in the process, they need to be seriously concerned about what can happen to them. Unfortunately, too many of them never get over the training and never realize paranoia isn't the job.

A little paranoia I don't mind... It's when they give in to it that bothers me. I was flipping Chanel the other night and flashed past some DEA show or something like that... They were asking the thugs why they like being cops and I swear one of them said.. "I just like arresting people"
I'm thinking he's the last guy I'd give a badge to.

The thing that is of concern is how they are planning to identify these enemies of the state... By Ron Paul bumper stickers.... Watching the Zeitgeist movie... This is leading us to a horrible place and ultimately a civil war.
