That is absolutely wrong! Bush was NEVER a conservative or part of the "right". He turned out to be one of the worst presidents in history - not for the war in Iraq (one of his few successes), but for the move toward socialism at the end of his term! Cheney would have made a MUCH better president than Bush.
I hope that Obama surprises us all and is successful. If he moves further toward socialism, he's likely to preside over the second civil war, which will be about economy (just like the first one).

Hmmm...The first one was indeed about economy. Some thought their own personal wealth was more important than the welfare of their fellow man.

Instead, he applied for and received five draft deferments. In 1989, The Washington Post writer, George C. You know how to copy/paste a definition from a dictionary about those 2 words but you do not know the true meaning of them... it's funny because you can say the "Right" of today is not true conservatism but anything that resembles socialism or facism you call true socialism/facism...

I go to my community college on Mondays and Wensdays. Last Wensday I was driving on I-75 in tampa florida, on the way home from school. The speed limit is 70mph but everyone goes 80, and cops usually don't bother to pull you over unless you are going 85 or more. So I'm driving 85 mph and I see a cop car driving up a head, and I start to slow up as I approach him. Eventualy he makes his way behind me and starts to follow me. A few minutes later He pulls me over. He has a southern accent, and was hard to understand at first. I asked him to repeat why I was pulled over and he said I had a "tri-violation" which I never heard of before. He said that means I can get three tickets; Speeding(Which he was just judging by looking in the rear view mirror), Driving to close to the car in front of me( which he was judging by driving behind me and looking through 2 windsheilds), and an expired tag(Which is a ligitimate offense.) To make along story short he just gave me the ticket for the tag. He acted like he was doing me a huge favor. I told hime I workd 2 jobs and go to school and always in a rush. I showed him my two work ID's and School stuff!
Now today on tuesday, less than a week later....I got pulled over by another cop for the same thing on I-75 but without the driving to close to the car in front of me! He said he could tell by looking in his rearview that I was speeding, and my tag was expired. I showed him the ticket I got less than a week ago and was on my way to take care of it...which I was. I later found out he was going right across the street from the tax collector, which is where I was going. The county jail and sherif office is right next to the DMV/Tax collector. So he goes to his car with my liscense, and Im thinking I'll just get a warning and he will let me go. As he's walking back I see the yellow ticket, And I almost flipped. He said he had to give me a ticket for someting, and he was giving me a break for just the tag experation. Now I have to pay two $80 tickets for the tag.
I hope this bad luck doesn't carry over to the Jurry duty issue!!!!!

I remember getting a ticket for not having a current inspection sticker on my windshield. It turned out that it was a forged sticker. The cop knew...I didn't. I proved to the judge that I didn't forge it and had the car inspected at an authorized inspection station, where that sticker was put on the windshield. But, you think they gave a _____?

You have to be driving one of those small Hondas, Acura's or similiar with one those 4 bangers and special mufflers. The one's that sound like my lawnmower use to, when it's muffler was bad.
I see those guys all the time in Ca. in my rear view mirror and in front of me.
I might be traveling 70mph and see this guy cutting in and out behind me, getting as close as he can to the rear of the car in front of him, as he goes in and out (game they play in CA, can be deadly) and he's coming to me in a real hurry.
It's easy to figure that if i am traveling the speed limit or a little faster and if he is catching me in a real hurry, then he has to be traveling 80+ to be catching me that quick.
It could be easily calculated by just counting how many seconds it takes for that car behind him to catch up and then figure that drivers speed.
As far as tailgating(or following to close). If you are traveling at 80mph you would have to leave 16 car lenghts between you and the car in front of you, to not be considered tailgating.
So unless you were way way behind this officer, i doubt he would have to look through the windshield to see if you were tailgating.
That is of course if i figured it right.
Even if it was 5 car lengths, he could easily tell unless you can stay straight as an arrow behind the car in front of you.
It might be a tough battle to win if he had cited you, depending on how the specific law reads.
They do look for certain profiles here in my area and those indivuals get pulled over a lot more, which may be the case with you. They always have here, i don't like it, but it is reality.
You have to protect yourself as much as possible, and pick your fights in court when need be, but try and avoid the small one's if you can.
