Yeah, I saw that. Likely the search party will find it soon but if they can't this story will never die. Anyone here think he is on some beach sipping on a Colada right now?

That his papers and money were found some distance from the plane seems to indicate that he was not killed or damaged so that he was unable to walk or crawl away.
I would surmise that the failure to search thoroughly in that particular area ended in him dying in the wilderness. Had they found him soon enough, He probably would be among us now and recovered.
