I was looking into getting into a home based/online business to get some side income that is pretty decent. There are TONS of this and that all over the net promising so much.
However, most of those people make their money of selling their ideas and not a product. So....if any of you have any experiences or opinions Id love to hear them.

Yes, it is all over the net and it's almost all B.S. You'll notice that they all promise instant riches without work and show pictures of people sitting by a pool; getting into a private jet; or on a yacht. There's a local radio ad that advertises that you can make money while you sleep because their computer (that you buy) does all the work. That's because they know people WANT to be rich but are unwilling to do the work to actually BE rich.
Can you succeed with a home-based business - ABSOLUTELY! However, what do YOU have to offer that people really want or need? That's the question you have to answer if you are to succeed. Then, you will need to put in a LOT of hours of hard work!

Yeah I can tell who is BS'n in these things. Anyone promising 20K a month by barely doing anything is like Urban Casavant selling some CMKX diamond superpower dream to get ill gotten gains in stock sales.
I WANT to do hard work, something challenging and rewarding of the effort. Something I can begin here in my spare time in my barracks to get started before leaving the military.

In fact, this is how I got into stocks 2 years ago. After wasting tons of time and money in MLM (multi level marketing) for about a year, I searched every topic in money and home based business. From ebay to Real estate investing!
My family has tried tons of homes businesses in the past. Like Amway..ect! The one that I did was called Freelife that sells goji juice and nutritional products! I started at the perfect time when they were expanding international, ect...but You have to put in so much time with leads and everything, that in order to reach your goal...it must be your life. No exceptions
No matter what home based businees you do...whether it's MLM or something else...you must believe in the product or service, and convince others to as well.
No matter what they say or claim...that's basicaly what happens...they sell you a dream, and you sell it to someone else. The more people you sell the dream to...the more people they sell the dream to....and there becomes a whole pyramid of people under you branching out.
Usally you need to get in An MLM company at the ground floor...those are the ones making the cash.
Unless you can convince others that you belive in the company, and you can make this company your life....don't bother
In my opinon the only businesses that work, are the ones that the most rich people do...like stocks, equities, real estate, forex, Drug trafficing, Human trafficing, Sex trafficing, Porn industry...In fact I might open A reality porn site. Possibly make some quest appearances!
I've been told to learn from others mistakes, so you never have to make any...also learn the ways others have succeeded, so you don't have to learn yourself...there's only a few common methods the majority of the rich got rich...besides inheritance.

Well Ace I agree! I quit playing stocks a while back because as a rookie I got burned pretty bad. Now im pretty confident I could make some good trades. What I learned was to figure it out myself which ones to pick. Because usually you would find that the stocks being pumped or lots of info coming out about had some sort agenda behind it.
Pinks...pretty much forget that. There is probably no way that I would play those ever again.
Not into the MLM just because people know what MLM is and its a big turn off to a lot. Maybe I will start an online adult novelty site for women and just run that on the side. It sure would be a great conversation starter at a bar with some hottie sittin next to me. It would be like: "oh by the way im also running something on the side called.....and basically what you buy from there are..."
She might get weird, or she might ask for the website address. If she asks for the address then MMMMOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
