Every body has their favorite stock Guru's. So wouldn't it be nice if these "Gods" put their money where their mouth is?
Here is the challenge.
Town, Cramer, Cappra, Turner, Lein and anyone else who pushes a method, book or a site - listen up.
Lets have a contest to see who gets the right to proclaim themselves as #1 Stock Guru.
Contest is quit simple.
1 Each "Guru" has to get three contestants, that are normal working people with very limited stock experience.
2 The "Guru" will spend 2 months of training their rookies in their system. They can do this in person, on their show or over the net...
3 After the 2 month period the "Guru's" will open an account for each of the three people (on a pre set date) in the amount of $20,000 (with the guru's money) on the brokerage site of their choice. I'm sure these guys can afford $60,000 not to mention the money they will make later as a result of the publicity.
4. At this point the contestants will buy and sell stocks on that site only for 10 months. The accounts will be made "viewable" to the public and no funds can be added to the site.
5 At the end of 10 months the "guru" with the best average wins ( take your three people -$60,000 and whoever has the best percentage.
Prize The Contestants that win each get to keep their accounts and get the balance of all the other accounts - split three ways. and
The "Guru" gets to show off his or her trophy ( a Gold Bull ) and have bragging rights/advertising for a year.
The next year the Trophy and bragging rights goes to the next winner.

Ain't a absolutely impossible pie-in-the-sky whimsical proposal that you know can't be ever brought to fruition just a comedy to get a laugh and thereby "off topic" and "non stock talk"?
