i blame inflation...

heres why,
if you want to live in america you almost have to have either a spouse or roommate, and everything is so expensive that you work longer to stay afloat, and places like the above mentioned make for an easier meal than coming home after 12 hours and trying to cook a meal. throw kids into the mix and you almost need a nanny. but what are you going to pay her with?
the convience of fast food is a way of life for alot of folks. stake out a mcdonalds during evening rush hour.. its a joke.
people always say americans are lazy, but i think its actually because americans work more hours per day that makes them stop by wendys on the way home, eat dinner and go right to bed to start over again tomorrow. eating crap and then going right to bed makes for an unhealthy fat population.
i work for the company that distributes the food to wendys, and you would be AMAZED how much food they go through.

Greetings To All:

The Munchkin Man once tried to work for Krispy Kreme.

The Munchkin Man's job was that of an overnight delivery person with a route from Virginia Beach, Virginia, to Nags Head, North Carolina.

The Munchkin Man had to show up at the Virginia Beach store at 2:00 a.m. The Munchkin Man didn't get back until 2:00 p.m.

The man who was trying to train the Munchkin Man got mad at the Munchkin Man.

The Munchkin Man could never seem to move fast enough for him.

The Munchkin Man kept spilling boxes of dougnuts everywhere.

The Munchkin Man also got "car sick" in the van.

He fussed and yelled at the Munchkin Man all day long.

But the Munchkin Man was honest.

The Munchkin Man didn't sneak one doughnut throughout the entire day.

The Munchkin Man still got fired after that one first day.

The Munchkin Man vowed to never eat another Krispy Kreme doughnut as long as he lives.

So far the Munchkin Man has kept this vow.

Best Wishes,

Munchkin Man

such a nice route too...

lessee, you prolly got to drive down Battlefeild Blvd, and go thru Moyock (pronounced MO yock)

pass by Gravediggers garage, then across the Currituck Sound bridge...

nothing like sunrise from Kittyhawk....

unless maybe it's sunrise from Oregon inlet, with a full load of fuel, ice and ballyhoo....

This job was too hard for the Munchkin Man.

The Munchkin Man had never had a job this hard before.

The Munchkin Man had a hard time lifting all those doughnut boxes without spilling them.

This was also the first time the Munchkin Man had ever tried to drive a delivery van.

The Munchkin Man's trainer made the Munchkin Man try to drive the van on the way back to Virginia Beach.

The Munchkin Man almost ran the van into a ditch along a long stretch of two lane road.

The trainer got mad and yelled at the Munchkin Man.

He decided to drive the rest of the way.

It was just as well that the Munchkin Man got fired.

The Munchkin Man found a higher calling by becoming a mathematician.

That's the route.

The Munchkin Man did not notice much of the scenery because the Munchkin Man felt sick to his stomach during most of the ride.

some of those ditches on Battlefeild Blvd and Caratoke hwy are pretty deep...

i used to work at the "over the horizon" radar station near there.... we have ground-based radar that can look down into south america from the great dismal swamp... pretty cool huh?

one of the antennaes was so unusual and big that we called it the "dinosaur cage" cuz that's exactly what it looks like...

oh i know !!
at my job we have soda BIB's (bag in box) that the fountain drink machines use, it is literally 5 gallons of coke syrup and they dilute it with some water. when we break them, its a sticky disaster. (picture mopping up 5 gallons of corn syrup)
companies like coke, pepsi, frito-lay will never be out of business in america thats for sure.
have you seen how many soda vending machines are in junior and high schools?
