No, unlike republicans, who do actually hate rather than think, I do not hate dubya. I do hate his all out un-American fascism, though.
Apparantly, like is the norm, you didn't bother to read any of it or pay attention to what was the subject of this thread or have the common sense to recognize the political intent of the political lackey that started it.
When fools and idiots on the far far rightwing extreme choose to turn a topic such as global warming, which endangers the whole world, republicans too, into one of their hate subjects for political reasons, it isn't those that point it out that are "taking a shot even when the conversation has nothing to do with" politics.
The principal fool and idiot that attempts to smear fact with political lies about global warming is dubya. The rest of the fools and idiots that religiously follow the lead of that fascist dictator wanna-be are perhaps as dim as he is where anything technical is concerned and simply don't know better.
So go tell you all mighty fuhrer to stick to the subject. Better yet, tell him to resign, take that ghoul Chaney with him and turn this all over to Nancy.

I remember, back before the rest of the world ever heard of him, seeing Willy Nelson, drunk and leaning against the wall to keep from sliding to the floor, seated in a straight back chair at Jake Threadgills in Austin, stroking his guitar and singing for beers. And not just once. It wasn't just a performance, it had some other quality.
I watched some people there that I knew couldn't afford a beer for themselves pony up to buy one for Willy to keep him singing and picking.

They build most of the rice burners that are sold in the U.S. in the U.S., so it seem to me it is keeping Americans bringing home a paycheck.
Where'd they build your computer and all the boards and gadgets that it requires to be called a computer? And what about the TV and the washing machine and the tomatoes in your burger?

The fact is bdgee that for every one job created by Japanese-owned plants here, three are lost in American plants.
Built my own computer(with Japanese produced parts because there are no other options)
Grow my own tomatoes...grind my own burger...

I question that as a fact. It may be your opinion and that is ok with me, but I think it is false.
I build my own computers from parts others toss in the garbage.......saves landfill space and contamination, so that one day after it has thoroghly composted, it will be safe to grow tomatoes in.

You are right bdgee...(you always are) I stand corrected....for every one job created by Japanese owned plants here, FIVE to SIX are lost in American plants...the reason being is that the Japanese keep their engineering, financial, sub-assembly, etc. jobs at home.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I absolutely abhor the outsourcing of labor and goods manufacturing to second and third world countries in order to pay corporate gurus hundreds of millions a year for doing it. (Not sending any to Germany or Italy or England to speak of.)
But I abhor even more the regurgitating of Party line crap with no basis in fact, which is meant to do nothing good for the Nation. It's sole purpose is to generate Party first idjets worshiping the party, like Nazis in pre-world War Two Germany.

Well I guess I was wrong again bdgee...you aren't always right...there is nothing political about it...matter of fact I am speaking for my UAW brothers and sisters and their families who are losing jobs as we speak, and to them it's not political...it's a harsh reality. I dare you to come up here to one of the local union meetings and call any of these decent hard working people, right wing party idjuts or Nazis...they would mop up the floor with your azz.
You state that my statements are false, yet you bring NOTHING to the table to prove that what you state is true...WTF is that? Clue...more political BS presented as fact.
Jordan...You are still living in the seventies...American cars and trucks built today are of equal or better quality than any other automaker in the world...

First of all, I didn't call any decent hard working people, right wing party idjuts or Nazis. So get off that insulting lie.
Second, I might have more experience in union halls than you can imagine. They won't resort to violence unless it is forced on them. You might want them to, but they aren't stupid.
Third, except for your opinion and that of your " UAW brothers and sisters and their families", what have you brought "to the table to prove that what you state is true"?
Your heartfelt answer to a complex question is an over simplification, at best. The complexities of this situation are such that there isn't any one answer.
You misinterpret (or misunderstand) what I say. You seem ever inclined to do so. Why?

LOL What brand is your computer RT? Where'd you get your garbage can from? Your leather couch? Your Calimari?
The American boys want my money I'd be happy to give it to em. But first they gotta make a car I want. That mean fuel economy and reliability.
There are a couple models I might consider for my next purchase but the majority of em just can't match up.

Ford Focus is one possible model I'd look at.
Chevy Aveo could be too but it is too early to tell how it holds up over time.
Those are really the only two American made cars that match my fuel economy standards. And that isn't considering reliability at all.
Otherwise it is Honda and Toyota. If the domestic boys want my cash they gotta catch up to the times. Honda's have been giving out 30 mpg for over 15 yrs now for cripes sake. What's taking so long???

The team stuffed a Mopar Performance 300-horsepower (360 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 rpm) 5.7-liter HEMI under the hood. Gear slamming is done through a Tremec five-speed transmission via a Hurst pistol grip. The interior continues the no-nonsense approach with four Viper buckets wrapped in black carbon fiber leather by Katzkin.
This Dodge Nitro is sure to turn heads -- leaving lots of long black strips on the pavement. -------------------------------------------------
This one sounds good to me.
