I'd like to blame "the population in general", but I'm afraid they do have the excuse that george and crew told them over and over that the information was in hand but could not be released to the public in order to protect the information sources and information gathering techniques from the "enemy".
I rather like that the public wants to trust in the efforts and word of its leaders. What the "the population in general" was guilty of was trusting the honesty of a cadre of crooks and liars.
The "the population in general" simply didn't bother to remember that many of this same group of crooks had been convicted or pardoned (even before they could be charged or convicted) by a past President Bush after engaging in a passel of lies to steal from and abuse the trust of the people.

Yes, particularly when they know it isn't true.
I'll allow some wiggle room for stupidity until the falshoods gets to be a habit, then they get tossed in the same pot with the liars.

When you buy two of an item that is sold seperately but then it comes packaged together in one box. Did I overpay or would they really have opened the box and handed me one???

Yup. I never had to take my ex (boyfriend) to court for child support for my oldest child - we just agreed on a weekly amount when she was very little & that's that - & I put most of it in a trust fund & I will give it to her when either she gets married or buys her first home (I think that's why her father repects me & we get along so well). I keep a little bit of the money hidden & I give it to her for an allowance or little things she wants- Then when it's time to go school shopping I take her & then he takes her- everything is BOTH of us....I HATE when the mother expect the father's to pay 100% of everything....It takes 2 to make childern, it should take 2 to pay for them!!! ...And it sure as heck doesn't cost $800/ month for a child to live especially when they are living under a parents roof...so what are some of these mother's doing with the child support? Making there own car payments? Yuck!!! Makes me sick!! I'm not saying that all mom's are like that but I have seen it happen...I know a womwan who as soon as she got the child support amount awarded she went and bought a brand new 4 bedroom house for her & her son....is that money really going to her son or is it going toward her mortgage? I know someone else that gets $250 /week for 1 child!!! Yet the father still pays for dance class, swimming lessons, cheerleading, clothes, & anything extra....WHERE IS THAT MONEY GOING?
Sorry for rambling on & on but that crap REALLY IRKS me....are me & my ex the only people that understand it's about OUR CHILDREN?????

Mothers that get s.s for their son because his Father died when he was young and not ever giving him a penny!!! True story. She even works at Fords as most of her exes. If he needs anything { shoes, clothes etc} It's always "Tell your Grandpa" Of course this is his paternal Grandfather and has always provided for him , won't rock the boat because he was always afraid she would keep him away.
Thankfully he turns 18 next year and wants to live with Grandpa then. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow , I feel better, as you can tell , she really irks me.

You want an IRK, I'll give ya an IRK!!!!!!!!!
At age 19, my father was 37 and died suddenly of a heart attack on business in Chicago back in 1984. His second wife at the time, burned me and to this day I have not seen a thing. He had a will from 1972 that was never updated when he had very little money, the new will was not finished and she was left as the executor and trustee. She horded it all for her two sons from a previous marriage, spent it on them and the youngest one turned out to be a burglar, tweekin LOOOOSER who is in prison now, the big Irk is that he sold my fathers tools (Snap On Head High and full)(30grand) for dope. I figure she ripped me off for about 1.2 million.
So put that in your pipe and smoke it!

I agree 100%....but not all cases are like yours. Me and my ex have shared placement and there is no child support order but an agreement to share costs..... Yet, I pay for everything...school tuition, clothes, karate classes and whatever else he may need....his father gets paid in cash by his employer and then claims he doesn't have any money....he gets food stamps and other aide to "help" him. What a joke.

Good for you Jenna..I wish there were more mothers out there like you...I've been paying child support for 24 years (I have 4 years to go) and I have joint physical & legal custody of my youngest. I have never been late or missed a payment, yet when I walk into the Friend of the Court, I am treated like a POS...that IRKS me.
