I don't agree with much of what Ann Coulter says, but I do like the fact that she isn't afraid to say what she thinks, even if it will offend people. That is one thing Bill Maher has going for him as well.
I am sick of the whole "political correctness" thing the libs are always crying about. To me it is just setting the precedence for destroying our of freedom of speech.

Oh Reps can offend me with their speech. It is their right because they have the right to say what they want. I may not like what Reps,KKK, Nazis and half a dozen other groups in the U.S. say but I would defend their right to say it. If the Republicans had absolute power where no other party was allowed to run and this turned into a Dictatorship (in every sense of the word) by Bush or whatever Rep leader I would have no doubt more and more of our freedoms would be abolished including Freedom of Speech, religion etc...

Well, NR, you may not listen to Fat Rush the Doper or the irrational insults of The Numskull, o'Reily, but you get what you call your facts from them or someone just like them, maybe indirectly, because it is the same irational and crude BS.
What's more, it is shot through and through with the same violations of logic and insults.
A thing does not become true or a fact because the far right wants it to be and what those not of the far right think or believe is almost always nothing close to what you claim it is.
You need to learn better manners tnan to declare what others think when you aren't even willing to figure out what they do say. You tend to speak, like the absolutely similar rantings of Limbaugh and O'Reily, in a string of insults, name calling, false and incorrect assumptions, and characterizations of others, that is neither appropriate or appreciated.
Personally, when dubya announced that Iraq, Iran, and North Korea formed an Axis of evil, I knew immediately he intended to couch them as equivalent to the Axis of the 30s and 40s....and so did any and everyone that actually thought about the intent. Those of you that were so busy worshiping dubya and so enthusiastically cheering on his "he-man" approach to diplomacy failed to recognize he cast those nation's leaders into the same pot as Hitler, Tojo, and Mussolini.
Whatever bad things you might say about those people, true or false, they aren't that bad and should, if for no reason other than diplomatic courtesy, NOT be cast in that mold.
It is shameful that we have a Prresident with so little respect for the world in general that he would present such a heinous proposal!
