THE WOODSTOCK ROCK FESTIVAL

___________________________

Note: This is a new essay which you will not find in any of the Usenet newsgroups.
___________________________

As the principal of my high school and a former teacher of Amercian history, I was shocked and disgusted to learn so very recently that there are teachers in our nation's public schools who show the movie"Woodstock" (1970) in their American history classes.

This movie is based upon the Woodstock hippie rock festival that was held in Bethel, New York, from August 15 to August 17, 1969.

I would never allow the showing of that movie in my school. Not in any way, shape, or form, whatsoever.

This movie is a shameless glorification of the era of the hippie movement, celebrating all their long maggot infested hair and beards, foul body odor, pot smoking, LSD, loud anti-war music, and all that sexual promiscuity with those slutty "free love" hippie women.

This movie also contains nudity and profanity, which have no business in any public school. In my book, this movie is nothing but pornography, plain and simple.

At a time in our nation's history, when we needed our young people to rally around our troops in Vietnam and support their President, Richard M. Nixon, it was events such as this Woodstock rock festival which were undermining and destroying their morals and their patriotism.

Shortly thereafter this rock festival, we had hordes of hippie longhairs multiplying like cockroaches all across the country, protesting our war in Vietnam, rioting in the streets, burning their draft cards and the American Flag, and even running off to Canada to avoid their sacred and patriotic duty to serve in Vietnam.

At the time of this rock festival, the Governor of New York was Nelson Rockefeller. If I was in his office, I would have sent in the National Guard to bust up that freak fest and send all those stinking hippies home. No matter what it took to finish the job.

My records show that George W. Bush was attending flight school at the time in preparation for his service in the Texas Air National Guard. If I had known what a great President and Commander-In-Chief he was later to become, I would have pulled a few strings to get him to come up and fly a few practice missions, strafing the area with a few tear gas bombs.

I seem to remember a line from an old hippie song that goes:

"Come on baby, light my fire."

Bush could have done a little bit of that too. If some of those hippies were too stoned or stubborn to move fast enough, then I would have had Mr. Bush drop a little napalm down their way.

This would have surely lit up some fire up their asses and help speed their merry way home. It would have also wiped out whatever was left over from all that hippie smell and all those rotten germs and bacteria that came with it.

Being the true patriots that all the members of the Bush family have always been, I am sure that old Georgie boy would have been proud to start carrying on the family tradition by starting out so early in his career with such a fine and honorable mission.

Then you might have had a movie worth showing. One that shows what can happen to a mass mob of human social degenerates when they thumb their noses at the mores of a decent and civilized human society and getting exactly what they deserve.

Some of you probably have no idea of the tremendous socio-cultural degeneracy that events like this caused. I'm ashamed to admit this, but I had a cousin around that time who was a nice clean cut American boy and who was enrolled in the ROTC program at his college. His father was a Marine, and he had excellent home training.

Then he started listening to and hanging out with a bunch of these phony hippie radical intellectual types at his college who were speaking out against the war.

Before you knew it, he took up pot smoking, quit his ROTC program, grew his hair down to his ass, and became one of these hippie war protesters himself.

He's now one of these modern day liberal college sociology professors who bashes President Bush and his war effort in Iraq. In fact, he bashes practically everything Bush says and does.

To this day, he is still one of these pot smoking hippie longhairs. In fact, he reminds me a lot of this ******* Ward Churchill, that terrorist sympathizer who teaches at the University of Colorado.

All I have to say is that this guy should thank his lucky stars that he lives miles and miles away from my lodge.

This is a perfectly good example of why we need to keep marijuana against the law and prevent all this "medical marijuana" crap. It softens and warps the brain.

In far too many cases, it turns perfectly good level headed common sense conservatives and turns them into stupid fuzzy headed liberals. It's common knowledge that the vast majority of our pot smokers today vote Democrat.

Some of these pot smokers claim they need their marijuana for their pain. Malarky. This is just an excuse for them to satisfy their leftover hippie urges to get high.

The bottom line is that there's a lot better drugs out there for pain and perfectly legal too. Oxycontin, for example, is one of many and will knock out just about any pain you may have.

If Marijuana really does have all these medical benefits some people claim, then I believe there is already a pill out there that's already been invented, one that contains its active ingredient, and which is called Marinol.

Let these people take this pill instead of allowing them to carry on with their hippie pot smoking ways. They should take their drug in a pill which is legally available from a real pharmacy, just like other decent and respectable people do.

Let's stop glorifying the national disgrace of the Woodstock freak show and keep the pot smoking illegal.

As symbols of the worst era of cultural pollution in modern history, our civilization can ill afford to tolerate the moral and social degeneracy they cause.

Many believe that Bush Jr. was (and probably still is) a cocaine user, (this would explain why he thinks God speaks to him). His alcoholism is also well documented; he was arrested for D.U.I. seven years after Woodstock.

THE RECORD

Therefore, he's harldly a model example for the Morally (self-)Righteous to support.
