So we have the choice between Vince Young, and Reggie Bush. Should be a tough choice, so I think well pick a frickin defensive player instead of one of these all pro's. Very irritating Indeed.

Invester, it wouldnt have mattered who they picked first, without a front line to protect they could have YA Tittle and it wouldnt matter. Vince will go before Bush, that would be sweet justice for Vince. NO PLACE LIKE TEXAS!!! You need to lay off the sauce also. LOL TMANFROMTEXAS...

bah... Bush is going to be all world, Young is overated. If Vick couldn't get Vicks style QB to work how will Young. Look at Super Bowl winning QB's like Brady or Roth (yeh that's right my boy Brady who is already a legend) they are closer to Lienart. If you want a flashy super star take Young if you want a Super Bowl caliber QB take Lienart. IMO though AJ Hawk is going to be the best pick of this draft, that kid can play!!!

good points, admittedly
the book is till open, though, on the "Michael Jordan" factor... on the plus side for Vince is raw, mega-talent, in the neighborhood of Jordan and Tiger. On the minus side? Lottsa face-eating linebackers and linemen who will have no scruples about ending his career early...
certainly an interesting phenomenon to watch play out...

It doesn't really matter who anyone drafts because Brett Favre has decided to come back for one more year so everyone else might as well find something else to occupy their Sundays with. I mean how much fun will it be for you guys when you know full well going into the season that Green Bay is going to win it all?

Well, you dont really think the Giants have a chance do you? And Tex, you can always root for Houston (Bum Phillips!) or dem boys (Tom Landry!) but they're not going anywhere this year. Green Bay 12 and 4 with Brett throwing 30 interceptions. It's gonna happen, just watch.

I do agree vince young is overrated though he may have a lot of athletic talent but his speed won't look as good in the pros as it did in college. That and his intelligence test scores were pretty low.. not something you want from a QB

There was a commercial with him a couple of years ago where he ripped a pom-pom from a cheerleader. Classic. He's gotta do something about that chin though.

It ain't about speed, per se.. did you play ball? No insult intended if you didn't... trust me, am not like that
SPEED is one thing...moving off the "wrong" leg is another...with quickness...
lol, you can beat someone to the goal-line in a 100-yd dash?
not the same as "elusive-factor"

The Texans have signed Mario Williams DE NC St. He's a super freak runs 40 in 4.7. 6'7 295. Look for the Jets to try to move up to take Reggie Bush if not Saints take Reggie Bush.. Vince Young will end up in Oakland as the 7th pick overall. I had 16 out of the first 19 right last year.
1st 10 picks
1. Texans- Mario Williams DE NC St. 2 Sanints-Reggie Bush RB USC 3. Titans-Matt Leinart QB USC 4. Jets-D'Brickashaw Ferguson OT Virginia 5. All good points. I am merely saying that we had the chance to get star power. Who are the names you remember. Emmit, Troy, Montana, Starr. Now Reggie will be synonymous with greatness. If this guy turns out to be another Julius Peppers I think I will cope, but those chances are slim. Also, Favre is old, he should retire with dignity. Hope it pans out.
