After today's "commute"? I wanna craft sumpin like an ultra-light + para motor whatever...with cargo capacity for 800-1200 pounds. Need to deliver tools and materials at 50-60 mph, as the crow flies...about 200-feet above ground

Think blimp.
I have a vision of one with a gas bag shaped with a central "hole", front to back, containing a reversable ducted fan.
It shouldn't be terribly expensive to build or operate and it doesn't require nearly so much training to become proficient at operating one. Whwn I lived up north, in Denton County, the high schools's practice field was behind me and there was a small blimp (two man plus much camera gear... about 25 feet long and 8 in diameter) that used to land at the end of the field behind my house. It managed almost vertical desent and takoff.

Need to put together a company and build the things, I guess....and someone airship qualified to fly it....wouldn't need a huge engine to make it go.....gotta be a market.....
