Why? It's been that way since George Washington's became our first President. Annoying or not, separation between Church & State is impossible in this lifetime. Lefties are wasting time petitioning to have the Ten Commandments taken out of our court houses for what? It's always been there. Why now? Because this is yet another hippy movement of the late 60s which accomplished absolutely nothing? Hey man, I wasn't around in the late 60s thank God, however, history shows how immoral so-called flower power children were and I'm ever so thankful that I wasn't around to see the immorality in your failed "liberation movement".

I dare you to find one court decision, law, etc. that which has been based on any religious doctrine.
