Many in Texas have known of and tried to warn of the many debilitating effects of Gonorrhea Lectim to the moral and intellectual well being of the populace and and tried to warn those in foreign lands, such as Ohio, Nevada, and Georgia. Sadly, we were ignored.
An even more dangerous result of infection by Gonorrhea Lectim only shows up long after initial attacks and symptoms, which you have listed. Though it is not an immediate symptom, a dangerous secondary symptom develops, stemming from three of those immediate symptoms you mentioned: (1) chronic mangling of the English language, (2) creating evangelical theocracies, and (3) a strong propensity for categorical, all-or-nothing behavior.
Once progress of the disease has reached this seconday level, the diseased individual attempts to ignore the Constitution, particularly with respect to the First, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendments, claiming the right and need to do so, based on what is refered to as "Patriot(ic) Act(s)".
