I just finished watching an examination of what went wrong at Fema on MSNBC.........

The crimes of this Federal Agency are beyond what many of you will be able to believe...

This will go down in History as a complete break down in the Chain of command at the crucial hour...

We will literaly see, hear, and read things that will make even the most ardent conservative cringe with disbelief..

Get used to it, you'll be affected by this monsterous, inept tradgedy of the federal government for years...

And I don't want to hear any holier than thou B.S
Those of you who still cling to some ridiculas claim that people got what they had coming to them, are sick twisted idiots!

There is a very very good chance that had Bush's lackeys not delayed FEMA in order to try and usurp the rightful authority of the Governor, ALL of those people in that rest home might have been saved! And you sicken the athmosphere trying to divert responsibility away from the Party chosen. I'm sick of you and your kind not having the guts to admit that your clan of fools and crooks, put in place to direct monies from the federal treasury to big time Party contributers, F----- up! Have the decentcy to stop accusing the poor trapped people of New Orleans for what Bush failed to bother to do.

FEMA never was meant to be an intial responder.
It was formed to come in after the other intial responders. 'Do the research and check it out for yourself.'

The fault lies primarily with the New Orleans mayor and the LA governor, but the media is trying to blame Bush and Brown.

They don't want to blame the mayor because he's a black man and they don't want to blame the governor because she's a woman. To do so would not be good for the advancement of "so called" civil rights!

LOL, yeah Brown is being crucified for the black mans sins.... that's some sad stuff you are posting...

FEMA not a first responder???? after 911??? Homeland Security ring any bells???

FEMA says differently...as a matter of fact?

The National Urban Search and Rescue (US&R) Response System, established under the authority of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in 1989 is a framework for structuring local emergency services personnel into integrated disaster response task forces.

These task forces, complete with necessary tools and equipment, and required skills and techniques, can be deployed by FEMA for the rescue of victims of structural collapse. Learn more about this national capability by using the buttons on the sidebar.

http://www.fema.gov/usr/

very very sad indeed.....

Urban search-and-rescue is considered a "multi-hazard" discipline, as it may be needed for a variety of emergencies or disasters, including earthquakes, hurricanes, typhoons, storms and tornadoes, floods, dam failures, technological accidents, terrorist activities, and hazardous materials releases. The events may be slow in developing, as in the case of hurricanes, or sudden, as in the case of earthquakes.

SLOW in developing like hurricanes???? sheesh man...

You have not given any references to the contrary.

The fact remains, why are there 1000 bus under water? Why were they not used? Can you answer the question instead of skirting around it?

Why did the LA governor refuse Bush's initial request for aid and refuse the Salvation Army on Tuesday from access to the Superdome?

What happened to the $2 Billion in aid given during the Clinton to fix the levee problems?
Why was only 2 million spent instead and what happen to the other 1.98 billion? I sense coruption here!!

Why does the press ignor these important questions

Patrick,

It is clear why you haven't provided any source for what you claim above. Each of those statements is a falsehood. I assume you gathered them from some extremist Party source or from some radio professional liar that supplies extremist with nonsense.

Don't waste my time bringing back some trast link from one of the Party faithful. All of your claims have been, within the last three weeks, solidly refuted with actual facts and reliable sources.

bdgee, the man may have a problem with separating political spin from reality...

Don't forget that I was a Bush supporter.
His miserable command perfomance changed everything for me,as far as the administration goes...

I sense a fundamental under laying problem with Patrick...

I think it may be the hidden agenda that repulses so many against the Republican party...

I have seen many wanna be republicans who do not understand the fundamental decency of this great party....

Thats the problem, my party has been vandalized by these parasites, with hidden agendas..

I 'll say it again THE GLASSMAN, BDGEE,AND PURL were right all the way down the line..

At least I have enough honesty and common sense to admitt it..

Hopefully patrick and others will do an honest assestment of what they truly believe...

A party based on bigotry, hatred and elitist lies WILL NOT STAND..Both major parties need to work on the truth and stop this damn spinning..

I kinda liked what O'Reilly said today, basically, Bush hijacked GOP and the left is too "bankrupt" to capitalize on it...

thanx for the vote of confidence tex, i haven't always been right tho...

i do TRY very hard to make it VERY CLEAR when i offer my GUESSES and suppositions....

that's waht grinds on me about rushie, and a few others...they offer "facts" that just aren't facts...
DD'ing politics is not really much different from DD'ing stock... what is correct one day can be incorrect the next....

my gut told me we were doing a "bad thing" when we sailed into Baghdad without a scratch... up to that time? i was just as gung-ho as anybody else, heck i expected a small-pox attack, remeber the vaccination scare? there weren't enough to go around? hmmm........

why did i become suspicious when we took Baghdad so easily? it made no sense at all for Sadam NOT to use what he "gots" when he knew for sure that we were there to take him out....

after that? i started paying closer attention to the "minor details" as some might call them....

the GOP once represented the idea that the Federal govt was/is more like an umbrella.... there to function at the SERVICE of the states, and as an intermediary between them... now? the GOP and the DEMS are the same as far as i'm concerned... they argue over really stupid minor issues while they divvy up the swag behind closed doors...

i mean really? the last election came down to a get out the vote by the clergy to prevent same-sex marriage.... and the GOP hasn't even followed up on that have they? they KNEW it was ludicrous, but it worked....

and what is faith-based govt funding, BESIDES unconstitutional? it's just the clergy lining up to the hog-trough like all the other special interest groups....

lol, will trade you 2 fire ants for no twisters.

BUT, you can't come back with a St Helens clause, nor an Exxon captain who "loses" a continent...lol
