Any preseason picks, or just who is your team? I am orig from NC so I am now a panthers fan. Before that I was a Pats fan when they had Ben Coates and Vincent Brisby, but they traded both of them and Carolina got a team. The Panthers are looking good this year I think. I hope Davis can get healthy because he is a distraction and Foster can run better. It is hard for an opposing teams D to prepare for the power of Davis and the finesse of Foster. Go Cats

I know da Phish(Dolphins)were in the cellar last season. But, I think they may do pretty well this year. I think they just may be putting together quite a stifling "D". They ahve an alternating 3/4 and 4/3 "D" system. On the "O" side...with the drafting of Ronnie Brown and the return of tricky Ricky, they may be able to put together a punishing ground game. Still a huge "?" at quarterback though.
AFC looks to be very competitive this year. Ought to be some great games. Go Phish!!!

Being here near DC in redskins country I see and hear a lot about the skins, but this season looks bad for them. I hate to see Gibbs go out like this. I would be surprised to see 5 W's this year for them. Anyone on here bet on the games, if so where? I use intertops.

It's amazing what Kurt Warner can do with an offensive line to protect him and 2 solid receivers. Now Eli is stuck with this O-Line, and Kurt needs a RB.

My team is predicted to stink this year and so far is living up to it. My old team (Washington)has stunk for years now so I guess its college ball this year for me, lol.

I'm in a little pot that ignores the line and goes heads-up...whoever picks the most straight-up winners gets the pot. Ties are decided by closest guess to "total points" on Monday night game.
Last week I was tied with the eventual winner--with only two losses--going into Monday night's game. I had picked Carolina over Minnesota and St. Louis over San Francisco. He picked the 49ers' upset, but lost lost something else I had picked correctly...
We both picked Dallas over Washington for the Sunday game.
For Monday, I somehow *completely* lost track of Ruthlessburger's health and picked Pittsburgh...
Anywho, I am nowhere as near as confident with my picks this week, but here's what I chose:
Pick in bold (the "star" means "at," as the ampersand symbol does not render correctly):
Carolina * Tampa Bay
Chicago * Minn
Cincy * Pitt
Green Bay * Detroit
Jags * Colts
Jets * Bills
Tenn * Miami
Skins * Houston
Balt * Cleveland
Giants * Seattle
Philly * 49ers
Rams * Arizona
Broncs * Pats
Falcons * Saints

I don't care which teams win as long as they cover the point spreads.. last week i won 4 out of 6 bets.. this week won 4, had 2 pushes and lost 1 game.... as of sunday.. still debating whether to bet the Atlanta game..

I took Atlanta, too...thinking the hype will prove a distraction for the Saints rather than inspiration. If that pans out, will be 10-4. At $155/100 (heads-up), that's $1,000 - $620 = $380. Better than a poke in the eye, but 10-4 won't win any winner-take-all pots...
