Government waste: Any program run by government is wasteful. Medicare fraud is killing us. Cost overruns are typical. Government employees use government credit cards for personal items, to the tune of thousands of dollars a year on an individual's account, and get away with it. The department of Education can't account for millions of dollars a year - no one knows where it went. We have put increasing amounts of money into education over the last 15 years, and private schools do a much better job at one third of the cost in some cases, yet the liberals want to pour more money in while blocking voucher plans. Elected officials don't ever tackle the problem of waste, but give it lip service - they much prefer to tax and wastefully spend more of what they steal from taxpayers.
Exploitation by special interests groups: Our political system is corrupted by the need for politicians to buy votes in order to get into power, and then sell their legislative vote to the highest bidder among special interest groups. Republicans buy votes in getting campaign money from businesses and using this money to pay for ads to sway voters, while Democrats do the same with trial lawyers, unions, etc. Democrats also bribe the poor by promising welfare and entitlements if the poor, and the love-parasites non-poor, vote for them. When elected, either party pays of their constituents to harm the greatest good for the greatest number. Anytime the few benefit at the expense of the many, this is a criminal morality and harms the many. Criminals benefit themselves (the few) at the cost to the many (victims and society at large).
As a result, "free" medical care and more welfare is coming (at a large increase in cost to each of us), our borders will continue to be open and we will continue to give education, hospital treatment, and other welfare to illegal immigrants, while these illegal immigrants rob jobs from our increasing number of unemployed citizens. Government (the modern form of the King and court) will grow and waste more will taxing us more, and we will become a third world nation.
The terrorists don't need to kill us, we will do that to ourselves. Some conservatives realize all of this but they are in a minoritity. Bush is a liberal in many ways and is solving some problems but creating more.

is this really art? .. i was under the impression that america will continue its reign at the top and be the best country in the world forever. why, after taking over the middle east oil and continuing the domination over every other country we would be unstoppable.. oh i forgot, if we bankrupt our country to accomplish this feat the end doesnt really justify the means. Dont forget also that when we are at our most vulnerable we would probably be attacked by other countries such as iran, north korea, russia, and possibly china. agreed ! everything has a life cycle and the united states is no exception. When economies begin to collapse the fight for superiority will surely follow only leading to another world war. But this time the US will take a back seat to other countries.
