Some people note that parental abuse is found in the history of sexual offenders. However, most abused children do not become sexual offenders as adults.
Some starry-eyed therapists recommend early intervention, as in childhood or shortly thereafter, to prevent sexual offender behaviors later.
Nonsense. Waste of time and money.
Treatment is largely ineffective with sexual offenders. What works is extended parole with careful monitoring (weekly visits to the offender and their friends and co-workers), with the threat of return to prison if any problem occurs.
All sex offender should have a microchip implanted to track their location at any time, computer recorded for late data retrieval, with erasure of data more than 2 months old. Whenever a crime is commited, the computer searches monitoring data to determine what sexual offender was in the area at the time was committed.
The ACLU would not prevent this simple and effective prevention of sexual offenses, which primarily only affect women and children anyway. Adult men, who rule the world and make the laws, are safe.
If this microchip is removed then the offender would go to prison for life.

i live in FL and that lunsferd girl was missing and taken outta her house by a registered sex offender that lived across the street and they had no idea he lived there .......he is like 50 got all doped up walked across the street took the girl outta the house raped her and killed her then took a bus ticket to georgia.........they picked him up at a homeless shelter and he admitted to it ........DIRTBAG!!

Obviously we need to track sexual offenders better.
Yhey are suppose to register whenever they movee, but they move all of the time and rarely notify authorities.
We should throw them in prison when they do this, but then the liberals and ACLU would say they have already served their time and further imprisonment violates their rights.
Besides, they only kill every now and then.

The Florida state legislature is now considering a bill to make convicted sex offenders wear an electronic ankle bracelet to track their movements, for life. This legislature is a conservative one, and can get this bill passed because the liberal opposition is a minority.
The ACLU, who fight to facilitate criminals and terrorists in doing their dirty work, will fight this tooth and nail.

Oh my, I can't believe it; I agree with you Art! Sex offenders should have an implant. I own stock in a company that makes them, and even though it is a scary thought for people,I believe they may eventually become the Mark of the Beast spoken of in the Bible, but anyway, it is a good idea to keep track of these guys for life! They say that over 90 percent of sex offenders, even with counceling, will do it again! Track them, and update their info, every time they move!

You guys, I found a website for the state that I live in, that the State police put out, that has the sexual offenders listed. You may want to look for them, on the internet, in your own state. There are 44 offenders in my area alone!

I once treated a 10 year old girl who was abused and twice she "flipped" and climbed a backstop at a baseball game also out on a second floor roof, ripped her top off to shake her top...
she was 10, not an early developed child, so for passerbuys it didn't look like a boob show but in her head...

I teach kids with behavior disorders in innercity schools so I'm a SPED teacher, currently one of the roughest schools in Boston, I teach LAB (learning adaptive behaviro) my subjects are ELA and History.
I got on the kick after working at a secure factility for adolescent males who were rapists and muderers. I bonded well with these types and went for my masters in teaching (better hours)
The girl was at one of my first teaching gigs. The school is known around the world for their work with kids. I tend to do a lot of therapy with my teaching.... I like innercity kids better, more chaos.
