yup--Diana, my wife and I are foster parents. we live about 90 miles er so NE of Hot Springs, 40 miles er so north of Lt Rock, near the very small community of Guy, Ar. It's on hwy 25 going towards Heber Springs north out of Greenbrier, Ar. Stock investing is my hobby/relaxation fun, as i do have a very demanding day job that keeps me from trading during most days, but maybe that will be a thing of the past in the future. And i can stay at home with the kids more--I do enjoy helping these kids--except with algebra--dang i forgot what little i learned of that stuff and high school was lots of years ago for me--hi--hi..........steve

LOL... good one Art.... no my dad is a republican....i lived in MD not DC....but close...tooooo close....
i was the only kid in my school(s) that the teachers actually ENCOURAGED not to pay attention in class...if i had a book to read quietly in the back, you could see the relief on their faces so by the time i graduated from high school, i had read 2/3 of the books in the library and all the sci-fi...unfortunately it wasn't the BEST sci-fi collection around...but it was good... if i were in school today? i would probably be taking a ritalin every hour or so....

Exactly like my history!
Just a few differences:
I spent most of high school on suspension, and never read any books there.
I never graduated from high school but did read a book once, in the juvenile home - Mein Kampf.
My dad was drunk all the time and never voted.
I took Ritalin as well as Thorazine, Haldol and Navane at times.

I wasn't smiling because I thought it was exciting; I was smiling, because I wasn't saying where I live! I don't want to give away who my hubby is, so I won't say! It was just the opposite! A man at the 93 crash site, told us some things, that would curl the hairs in your nose! He was on clean up crew, and it wasn't the picture that was on the news! Much much worse! I will never forget talking with him! Anyway, not exciting! NOT exciting!

You know what Wallace, I'm wrong. They're in Ligonier, not Reading. Don't know what made me confuse the two cities. Anyway, ever been there?
