so if you are a democrat, and you want to win the next election you find a right wing nut-case to strip off 10% to 15% of the ultra right wingers that voted for Bush this time...put him/her on the ticket too...

Senator Spector is now signing letters of intent to work for the president?

you people think this is conservative government? this isn't conservative government...this is blackmail and extortion...
i see freedom disappearing fast....Specter represents the people of Pennsylavania, not the white house and not Falwell....the sickness spreads...better hope it isn't a total pandemic...

http://www.australianpolitics.com/usa/clinton/impeachment/98-09-11prayer.shtml

Heres the first passage. Prayer is mentioned numerious times in his speech.

Clinton's Speech To White House Prayer Breakfast
September 11, 1998

Welcome to the White House and to this day to which Hillary and the Vice President and I look forward so much every year.

This is always an important day for our country, for the reasons that the Vice President said; it is an unusual and, I think, unusually important day today.

I may not be quite as easy with my words today as I have been in years past. And I was up rather late last night thinking about and praying about what I ought to say today. And rather unusually for me, I actually tried to write it down. So if you will forgive me, I will do my best to say what it is I want to say to you, and I may have to take my glasses out to read my own writing. First, I want to say to all of you that, as you might imagine, I have been on quite a journey these last few weeks to get to the end of this, to the rock-bottom truth of where I am and where we all are.

FO, you and a few others? i sometimes wonder if you have any clue at all...
questioning Clinton's religious affiliations shows major ignorance...he is more overtly religious than any president in the modern age....
including Bush, the way Bush has done it is behind the scenes...
Clinton regularly went to church while in the white house...
i didn't keep track of how often, but i'm pretty sure it was every Sunday...

this new conservative movement has seriously distorted reality...at least for a few of you...

Something I thought was funny last night, I was thumbing through TV channels and Bill O'Reilly was doing his talking point. He was talking about the Clinton, Jennings interview were Clinton blamed reporters for running with the stories. What I thought was so funning was O'Reilly's rant on and on about Clinton and what he did. While his whole sexual harassment case was paid off with millions of dollars of hush money. What a hypocrite. How does these people get by with this. They can look over O'Reilly and forget Rush was a druggie but when its a Democrat the morality spews over to discontent and hatred. Also, I thought it was so funny how O'Reilly would tell people he hadn't made up his mind on who he was voting for, before the election, what a character.

O'Reilly talking about sexual misconduct is like Michael Jackson talking about the wrongs of being a pedophile.

I dont think there will be a hatchet job. There is a lot of fear mongoring going on.

....am i of the distorted reality ilk?

clinton is a liar and philanderer and a few other things, thought his praying for bush was funny, hence the lightning comment.

Ric, on o'reilly, i love when those types of individuals get caught, its fun to watch the squirming,

I personally don't like o'reilly, some of his views are way to conservative, although hes liberal on issues to, he's kind of all over the place, which is similar to me but, most of the issues he's conservative on i find him to be a loon.

Rush is an idiot, and i read about his issues many times in the media. Remember these guys aren't presidents. They are entertainers....

So what did O'Reily do that you equate morally with Clinton's use of subordinates for actual sexual purposes and Clinton's other sexual adventures including attempted rape?

I didn't equate the two, as far as one being worst then the other. Sometimes I wonder about you Art. O'Reilly sexually harrassed his employee. He paid his way out of it yet he claims moral authority to condemn others. He used his power to sexually harrass an employee. Do you think that isn't immoral? Thats wrong and Foxnews should not allow people like this to be on there air let alone give them this story. But ratings are more important then scum hosts, yet they claim the christain right audience. How funny.

And before anyone says there is no proof, O'Reilly said he would never settle this lie on his TV show. Then there was a rumor she taped the phone calls and mettings at dinner. His lawyer filed in court to see any audio evidence. Two days later there was a settlement and a non discloser contract. We know it was for more then 2 Million because she turned that down. I think most here are smart enough to know the truth here.

He probably did it, but all of the right to change the channel.

CNN had its emplyees working for Kerry, is that ok too....morally responsible, fair and balanced...

Fox can claim all audiences except the left it is the most widely viewed and by a long margin, even with cnn being in more homes, hotels etc....

Just saying the right claims it biggest issue is morals. And fox pushed the morals issue all election. Look at the polls.

I wouldn't say that CNN was on Kerry's payroll no more then I would say Foxnews was on Bush's. Yet it is a fact that CNN host tended to favor Kerry and FOX made it clear who they were for.

Foxnews does have higher rating then Cnn 2 to 1. But lets not forget NBS news has 5 times the rating of any Foxnews and even ABC and CBS (Danny boy) has a 4 times more each then Foxnews. So not sure what the rating thing you mentioned has to do with letting a scum bag host a news show that made morals a issue. If morals suppose to be one of the rights new slogan then thay should stand up against immorality in all cases, not just when its a Democrat.
