I know that there are a lot of democrats on the boards and I respect a lot of them. Being a new member I don't want to insult them, but there is something I have to ask.

Was the Clinton Presidency peaceful? People say that it was and praise him for it, then burn Bush.

He did bomb Iraq and got support for it.

Is it peaceful because we were not attacked? On the homeland I mean, there were embasy attacks and kidnappings.

Wasn't it putting off a problem? Just bomb Iraq and let the citizens of it worry about where the US is going to attack again? I'm not so sure about Bush but I gotta ask these questions.

Glass, you are one that I respect, but can you call that an answer? I just can't see how people can praise Clinton for bombing Iraq and then put down Bush so freely. People say it wasn't the right time right way, but they never say what the right time right way is.

Clinton did have Bosnia. Well I don't think that most Democrats would even think attacking Afganistan wasn't justified. Except some die hard liberals tree huggers. But I see why they had trouble with Iraq. Dosen't really matter if you agree or not, most thought that Iraq was contained and since there was no connection with 911 it was taking the eye off the ball. It was the whole preemptive war. Were we attack a country so it can't attack us later, maybe. It was a might of war. Saddam might of done this or might of done that. If we needed to bomb Saddam or even support a rebellon, I don't think that would even had made so many mad.

stryker...if you've been reading my posts...

you'd realise i am not a liberal, i hated Clinton.... particularly for being a liar and a sexual predator....
i'm a republican, i don't like BIG federal govt..that's what being a repub USED to mean...
Bush i wanted out because i don't like the way he is trying to ream out the civil service people....

the war in Iraq? i never said we shouldn't get rid of Sadam, i said we went about it ALL WRONG.....
we are giving sam the holy war he wants...he is trying to take over Islam and we are helping him....

i even said that i didn't think Kerry would fix anything...i just wanted CHANGE....

the whole campaign from both sides was total dis-information...

Glass thanks for clarifying. I'm sorry but I was kinda offended by that, I didn't mean to really insult liberals, but I have seen people on the news slamming Bush for being agressive and saying Clinton was peaceful, which he was not.
