Awww, I'd love to have one of those! I've only ever seen one once! I'd be afraid of loosing them though!

I have one small dog, terrior mix, named Charlie, who will be fifteen next month, a snow white Cat named Maximus, who is three, and thinks he is a dog, and two aquariums, one saltwater, and one fresh! I had another big dog, a Collie Lab mix, but she has gone to the great beyond!

Your welcome! My big dog Casey, was the first dog I ever loved! We never had dogs for very long, when I grew up, because they were hunting dogs, and my Dad never got attached, and sold them, so Casey was one of my best friends! I still miss her a lot, and I know my husband does too!

We've got a six year old dingo/bulldog mix. Smartest dog I've ever had yet at the same time he's like a very intelligent person with no common sense. I can let him out the front door and tell him to get the newspaper from the paper box and sure enough, he'll do it. Problem is, on the way back he's so proud of himself he doesn't watch where he's going and he'll run smack dab into the side of the house, a tree, or anything else that gets in his way while he's prancing with the newspaper in his mouth. He's also the most caring and loving animal I've ever known so we tend to overlook his shortcomings.

We have a 2 year old pomeranian....sable color. His name is Sugarbear. We have a black bear "rat" named Burdine(named for the town drunk, LOL).
I also have an extra terrestrial pre-teen living with me, who thinks she knows everything.

Yeah, seeing unconditional love in a dog is something. Leave him alone at home for 5 minutes and when we return he darn near turns himself inside out he's so happy.

Yes, all material things are expressions of God, and are feed-back into hologramic interference, merging with the holonomic future, to form a new material present. Each new descrete material present replaces an older one (which goes into history) in succession.

All my barnyard animals are my pets. I love them.......when they are cooked correctly.

Glassman, doesn't matter if space has mass - it is not empty either way. It is a reservoir of quantum energy, available for regulation from quantum computation (God).

I have placed over a thousand of dogs (some cats) in good homes, saving them from death in a local animal shelter. I kept several myself, and still have a Lab mix.

Dogs are the most noble of creatures, morally superior to human beings.

Used to have an 80 gallon aquarium with African Cichlids. After they killed one another off I converted it to saltwater but all of the fish died within a month or so. That was the end of that hobby.

Oh, I'm sorry you lost your tank! That's always a bummer! If you ever want to try again, I know a couple of forums with some great people in them, that could help you! I have a 90 gallon salt water set up myself, and I've had some trials and errors, but I've had it for over three almost four years now, and even though it takes quite a bit of work, I love having it! It can get quite expensive though!

I've actually thought about trying it again. We had a cat at the time and we'd come home to find the cat on top of the tank attacking the fish with his paw, trying to scoop them out. He never was successful but I'm sure it didn't help the stress level of the fish much.

I have a cat, but I have two pieces of glass over my tank, sitting up on black painted boards, front and back. I have a fan sitting at one end, to blow air through, so it does'nt get too hot, but I only have Powercompacts and fluorescents on mine, so they don't get as hot as halide ones do! I only have soft corals in my tank, with the exception of an LPS bubble, and they live with one very large black brittle star, assorted hermit crabs, and snails, an urchin, Yellow Tang, Regal Tang, and assorted other fish. You can do it, if you do it very slowly!

Bichon Frise, which is probably one of the most hyper dogs I have seen. But maybe mine is one in its own. The second dog we have is German Shepard/Lab mix. We have only had pure-bred Shepards before. No other dog from my experiences is more dedicated to its masters. They are just straight out intelligent dogs. But I have to say this mix is not bad. She has a personality unlike one I have seen before. There really is nothing like having a dog, so much fun. No offense to cat people (I am allergic to cats).

Does that type dog, bark a lot, future? I am trying to find a type of medium to small dog, that doesn't bark, except to alert you that somone is at the door, etc. I have a friend, that has a tiny poodle, and when I am there, it barks all the time! Drives me crazy! I guess it is better than the one at the house I cleaned yesterday though! It defends its food dish, and the clothing of its owners! Especially if they aren't home! It is a Springer Spaniel, and sort of goofy off, mentally! I like her, but can't trust her! She bit her owner on the hand a few months back, because she was trying to pick up a piece of fruit, the dog didn't want, but was defending! Don't want one like that!

Kate, after our last shepard passed on the little one started to bark all the time when left alone. That is actually part of the reason we got thshep/lab mix we have now. Before that he really did not bark that much. A friend of mine had the same dog and they had it fixed. Thiers did not bark half as much. They are good dogs and pretty easy to train. Anyway for a small dog I like them, they don't shed and you can not be allergic to them.

The not-shedding thing would be good; because mine has very long tail hair, and it gets all over the place! But I have a white cat too, so between the black and brown of the dog, and the white of the cat, I have a lot of hair to sweep up!

Admitting his 0-4 record is not impressive "on paper," trainers announced that Lucky, a German shepherd guide dog for the blind in Wuppertal, Germany, is available for his fifth owner. Lucky led his first owner in front of a bus, killing him. Then he led the second off the end of a pier, drowning him. He nudged his third owner off a railway platform in front of an express train, killing him. And he walked his fourth owner into heavy traffic, abandoning him to be hit and killed. The new owner won't be told of Lucky's record -- the trainers say the dog might sense nervousness "and do something silly."
