You don't vote Glass, there will be a lot of people in this forum, that will come looking for you! Just remember! We will all have to live with the choice we make, if our man wins!

Local News
Mississippi voters can help end the two-party system

To the editor:

I've followed presidential elections in Mississippi for 24 years now as I am the son of the former chairman of the Democratic Party in Lafayette County.

If there's one thing I can predict with certainty, it is that the Republican candidate will win the popular vote in Mississippi. It doesn't even matter if every single Bush-hating, disgruntled Mississippian shows up and votes for John Kerry, George W. Bush will win this state, and I'm willing to bet anyone that I'm right.

All six of Mississippi's Electoral College votes will go to the Republican candidate. There's no question about it. So what's the point of voting for John Kerry in Mississippi?

is this a desperation play or what?
don't vote for Kerry cuz it's hopeless and we wouldn't want to go thru the embarassment of having the electoral college vote the wrong way from the poular vote???

and we have problems getting registered too?

Thought I heard Kerry and Bush were equal on the Electoral College count.
