Didn't it seem like Boston left an AWFUL LOT of guys on base last night? I liked it better when it was 5 hits - 6 runs!

Only kidding - it WAS an INCREDIBLE series.

Especially the COLLAPSE of ALL TIME !!!!

Many of us Boston fans keep forgetting there's still a World Series to play. One thing is for sure - NO WAY will it be as good as this ALCS was.

HEY - Now YOU Yankke Fans can say what WE'VE said for years: Wait until NEXT year!!

Steve, you still need to win the series to lose the curse! That statement is still at least 4 games away. It was good to see the Yankees get spanked anyway. Maybe NY will have the curse now for letting Clemmons go.k

Hooter -

I HAVE to say, as much as I want BOSTON to win it all, if it's Houston they play, I hope Roger KICKS their Ass in 1 game. They game him SUCH a raw deal. (How many Cy Youngs and World Series RIngs does he have since they shafter him)???

The Yanks didn't let him go. He retired then UNretired! (Actually - he gave THEM the shaft by signing with the Astros). George gave him a Benz as a retirement present! He's still GREAT no matter what!

The curse is not over!!!!!!! WHEN BOSTON WINS THE WORLD SERIES THEN IT WILL BE OVER.

BOSTON WILL NOT WIN THE WORLD SERIES BECAUSE THE CARDS AND HOUSTON IS BETTER. BOSTON WILL LOSE IN 6.

PLUS YOU GOT THE YANKEES MAD AND BELTRAN ABD RANDY JOHNSON WILL BE YANKEES.

Love, that was Boston's World Series. I think they rather beat the Yankees in dramtic fashion as opposed to winning it all. Well, they'd like to do both, but they'll always remember kicking their butts.

Love, today is the day sarki has predicted that CMKX will be at .10. He's connected, has inside information, and told us we will be rich today.
CMKX .0002
Only .0998 cents to go.

I'll be watching a few of the games over at the baseball tavern.......have to skip the cask n flaggin cuz of the annoying tv crews.

maybe hit whose on first....

got to be around when they start burning the cars.

LM, i disagree on one point, we will always hate having lost the world series after beating the yankees. also i would like to shut up everyone with that stupid curse talk, it would be good to get rid of that headache. shaunessey won't be able to sell as many books though.

WE MUST WIN!

That game was awesome. Everyone loves to hate the Yankees and with all that overpaid talent(alex rodriguiz) its great to see them not get what they paid for. Red Sox fans are so due for this. On a side note be prpair for you Patriots to go down. My Seahawks gave them a win on there own mistakes and the Pats did not earn it. Hawks led every stat and loss..from mistakes not being outplayed. Love to see the hawks and Pats in the Super,in the meantime it will be one of the best playoff`s in a long time . An a even better off season as many of these Yankees will put on the chopping block for this breakdow..............LOVE IT!

Ya I'm sick of the Yankees "buying" all their wins..... where the fuk do they get all that money?

Yankees have set the record for the worst blown series lead in baseball ever (and including basketball), while at the same time Red Sox became the only team to come back from 3 down (including basketball).

I'm not thier accountant I don't know.

If they make commercials with Steinbrenners arm all bandaged from writing checks, then it's obvious the world knows they buy wins and steal all the good players....

burp! A-Rod = A-fraud the cheater

bostons actually trying to cut pay roll, they put manny on waivers this year. they have a lot of payroll problems from previous owner, they pay a lot though just not as much as the yankees. they can't compete with the revenue stream.

You may not be an accountant...but you can't blame the Yankees for buying wins (by the way I hate it too) when Boston did the same thing.

Will and Love the Market, you have no idea how the market works. My friends on the the floor told me that those stocks will go up. CMKX will not be .10, it will be $10. You have no idea about making money!

(I hope you guys caught my sarcasm, but just in case you didn't, I am mocking Sarki. I usually get a response from him similar to the one above whenever I call him out on his ridiculous claims.)

LOL- as i said, the new ownership is trying to lower payroll, they are stuck with manny's they did put him on waivers. look at acquisitions last 2 years schilling only big name and came at a discount.

free agents not signed pedro, lowe veriteck, nomar traded..... get the picture, last years playoff do gooder gone also.

you can't change it in a day....... they took manny and tried to dump him and nomar for a-rod (only one contract)

yes they are 2nd most expensive but still 60 mill cheaper than yankees. to get 60,000 below the red sox, you have to drop all the way down to number 16

so between #16 and #2 you have the same difference in payroll as between #1 and #2.
thats a big deal, no one said the sox where on the cheap. Manny was an awfull buy also old gm was a moron, said clemens washed up about ten years ago LOL
