Raptor Investments, Inc. (RAPT, Trade) announced today that it has signed a binding letter of intent with Tampa, FL based EZ Auctions & Shipping to acquire the eBay drop store and worldwide shipping and packing company. An eBay (EBAY, Trade) Power Seller and trading assistant for over five years, EZ Auctions & Shipping represents Raptor Investments' first acquisition pursuant to last weeks' announcement that the Company is joining Las Vegas, NV based Net2Auction Inc. (Pink Sheets:NAUC) and Dallas, TX based Orbit Drop, Inc. (Pink Sheets:OBDP) in the eBay drop store business.
Jamie DeSane, acting CEO of Raptor commented, "EZ Auctions & Shipping has a remarkable business that we believe, when coupled with other synergistic business, can be scaled into an industry leader in the eBay drop store business. Their reputation over the past half-decade has been nothing short of stellar, exhibited by over 4,000 completed eBay transactions and positive customer feedbacks, representing more than twice the combined totals of our rivals, Orbit Drop, Inc. & Net2Auction." He added, "The acquisition also positions the new Company with ongoing cash flows and significant differentiation over our rivals in terms of consistent international sales, a retail worldwide packing and shipping business, and big ticket item capabilities, including vehicle, land and estate consignments as well as business liquidations via the eBay outlet."
Raptor Management also disclosed other initiatives currently underway. DeSane remarked, "We have several other acquisitions pending that, when finalized, will 'round out' our business lines in keeping with the new corporate strategy. Once these initial acquisitions are completed we will unveil our new identity, unifying the Company and all its operations under a new global brand, including but not exclusive to unified storefronts, web presence, a corporate name change, and a new trading symbol."
