anyhow, 15 more needed. I am having to pay more now myself, I just found out it cost actually 275.00 to get in monday. and then there is the cost of $70.oo in gas almost.

so, 345.00 in all. If atleast 20 people don't help. I might assume to make this a PRIVELEDGED INFO trip.

What I have done is that I'll type normally... but after I'm done I'll

The whole scrolling thing bugs me too.

the question is...I remember reading somewhere that ttn will be looking to charge $2 per subscriber, any ideas on how that will affect qbid's popularity? (assuming their shows are of equal or better quality.

I HAD ONE BRIEF CONVERSATION WITH FRANK AND I AM GOING TO TRY TO FIND AND RE-POST. HE BASICALLY SAID ONE OF HIS BIGGEST ERRORS WAS PUTTING OUT TOO MANY PRESS RELEASES BEFORE THEY WERE ACTUALLY READY. CAUSING DELAYS AND MANY ISSUES FOLLOWED THAT OF COURSE HALTED LAUNCHING.

I DID ASK HER IF THINGS WERE STILL ON SCHEDULE FOR THE MAY 1, 2004 NETWORK AIR TIME. SHE SAID EVERYTHING IS ON SCHEDULE AND PEOPLE ARE BEING INTERVIEWED AT THIS TIME TO ADD TO EMPLOYEE'S. BECAUSE OF OVER SPENDING AND PROBLEMS IN THE 2000 AND 2001 INABILITY TO AIR THAT THERE WOULD BE VERY FEW PRESS RELEASES. THEY HAVE CUT THE BUDGET AND ARE CONSERVATIVELY STICKING TO IT. I just took this from another board. Don't know if you've all seen it before but in the absence of news a nice bit of speculative theorizing will have to do:

You know, getting that primo location right by that high traffic area entrance may be due to much more than good fortune or Frank's negotiating power.

Let's face it, the main purpose of a huge convention like this with thousands of attendees is to showcase whatever is new, innovative and, in particular, "hot" that is coming down the pike.

And what could be hotter right now than "all things gay!"

So getting this high visibility spot may be tantamount to an endorsement by the savvy people running the convention intended to suggest to attendees that they pay close attention, because this is where a lot of the "coming action and the future of many of them is going to be."

If the converse were true, they'd probably have stashed us way in the back somewhere out of the limelight because we would be embarrassing them.

so one ticket per week (x) 52 weeks = $52.00

So if you gambled on QBID the same way at $52.00 (x) 0.004 (not including comm) and sold at $1.00 (if and when) = that would be a generious return of $13,000 . And if you loose ( I dought it) you can just chunk that thought in the trash as you would that lottery ticket.

They were so excited they wanted to borrow my comp so they could put some buy orders in on Monday. They don't normally trade in pennies but that is the power of GOOD DD. Which makes me want to put in an order as well (I am waiting for some cash to free up)!!!

I had planned to go the last week of March. I also own my own business. Two of my very best employee's gave me two week notice the Friday before I was to leave. I just could not get people hired and trained and just leave in a week for 2 weeks. I have a friend who lives in California who is just getting into the Market and trying to learn and papertrade etc. We were going to visit Qbid and I was going to stay 2 weeks for a much needed "VACATION". The plan just did come together. I want to go and now things are settling down a little. The trip at this point is not off--just delayed till I can regroup.

You are correct. Someone needs to go and view and report. Soon. I am working on it-but can make no promises to go. I still hope I can. Of course will let everyone know when-where and details.

ok, I'm back from California, (3 day drive), I stopped by
Palm Springs, and went to 303 n. Indian Canyon Way. I met Frank and Steve. the office was no trump plaza, but it wasnt a dump either. nice clean offices, lots of media stuff all over the walls very busy place I might add. receptionist vey nice lady. anyway, my goal was to just make sure for my own sake that QBID was for real, and believe me they are here. only got to speak to Frank for a few minutes (very busy, his phone was ringing off the hook) he is very excited about the N.O. convention, and putting a lot of effort into that right now. I did ask about buy-back he said "still in progress already bought some back", and a lot of his money was going to the launch and convention. also he said the soft launch is ON SCHEDULE. IMO frank is very conservative about everything, very knowledgeable about media, and t.v. etc.. Steve was sooo excited about the convention, he showed me,a diagram of the booth, and that no one will be able to miss them!! Also, the logo for q network that they will be passing out, he also talked about the soft lauch, programming ready,in final touches also they are giving a party afterwards to get the name out there even more! I swear that guy was on a caffeine buzz j/k !! my fiance was with me and was saying go QTV.. steve remined her that is already taken dont say that, (laughing) and said its Q televison network. also, I noticed a line up of the 24/7 channel on his wall already in place. that was very cool. he did tell me some things he has going for the channel but asked me not to post it as everyone would call them constantly. haha. in closing as I said before my main objective was to just see the place and get a feel, I did, just that. If they never launch all I can say to you all is it wasnt because they werent giving it all they got..
