It cannot be overstated how enormous the opportunity is right now to get in at the ground floor of what will soon be a major network in a ground breaking area. At a time when Gay issues are on the front page more than ever this company is in the right place at the right time. We will be right in the middle of one of the biggest political debates in decades. If you doubt controversy will help us make money, ask Emminem, any gangster rapper, Ozzy Osbourne, Madonna, Paris Hilton how they feel about it. In just a month or two as word gets out more you will have Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, Bill O'Riley on one side and all of leftist liberal media on the other and us in the middle with a cash register.

Yep DZ, you hit the nail on the head. That's right Diana, Dennis Rodman no real talent other than being mean and peirced with purple hair....made millions. Which leads me into the fact that even though we have immense controversy on our sides we will have talent as well, as I can tell just by the words Frank used he is putting together a quality product not just aimed at capitalizing on controversy driven hooplah. This is far from over.

I HAVE BEEN GIVING A LOT OF THOUGHT TO THE REASONING OF WHY SOMEONE WOULD SELL QBID.

#1.THE OBVIOUS REASON MONEY. SOME PEOPLE BOUGHT THE STOCK IN THE .0001 RANGE AND DECIDED TO SELL AND TAKE THEIR PROFITS OR AT LEAST TAKE SOME OF THEIR MONEY OFF THE TABLE.

#2.MAYBE SOME PEOPLE HAVE JUST REALIZED IT IS TOO BIG OF A GAMBLE FOR THEM AND THEY DO NOT WANT TO TIE UP THEIR FUNDS TILL MAY.

#3.SOME PEOPLE SOLD TODAY BECAUSE THEY BOUGHT HIGH AND DECIDED TO CUT THEIR LOSSES AND RUN. LOOKING AT THEIR PORTFOLIO BALANCE SHEET INSTEAD OF POTENTIAL. I KNOW MINE AT 1,200.00 GAIN OR LOSS EVERY MOVE OF .0001 IS NOT LOOKING AS GOOD AS IT DID. NO GUTS.

#4. MAYBE SOME PEOPLE JUST REALIZED THAT IT IS NOT A T.V. NETWORK YET. THERE IS A LOT OF WORK TO BE DONE BEFORE MAY 1, 2004. THEY LOST THEIR VISION.

WHATEVER THE REASON: I AM SYKED. I WAS SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING BUYING MORE SHARES AT .0022. NOW I BOUGHT 3 MIL MORE SHARES AT .0018 AND .0019. I KNOW YOU ALL PROBABLY THINK I AM NUTS. I THINK I AM ALSO. EVERYDAY I JUST SEEM TO SEE THE PENDING POTENTIAL MORE CLEARLY. TO OWN SHARES IN A T.V. NETWORK FOR .0018. AMAZING. WELL--I WILL STOP RAMBLING.

I AM JUST THANKFUL TO LIVE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND DAILY ENJOY FREE ENTERPRIZE.

here is what I am hung up on. the number of shares that this company has out is huge. for these stocks to be worth any thing, like $15 a share they would have to retire a ton of them or do a reverse split, which frank said would not happen. do you think they will be retiring some of the shares? I am new at this and am in for 500 bucks. If the stock would ever happen to hit $16 bucks with out a reverse split I would be set for life. Do you think they will retire some of the shares?
Thanks Alex

Fishstix, Frank said he was going to iniate a buyback program. The scope of the program cannot be forseen by me (dog buried my crystal ball...demands bacon for ransom). Just for a moment I want you to imagine how much it would cost to buy back for starters half of the O/S alone, then try to imagine where he would get that money. Add to this the amount of money this man is going to make in the next month or two alone...the question is could he pull it off. The answer is yes. You can be sure that as soon as those shares are bought back they will then be retired. Simple logic

There is a good chance this will be a good day trading stock at least before May, especially with the buyback going on. The swings should like the one today. CTKH also seem to have a nice pattern..I have not day traded that one...have only 600K & the spread is a little tight - between 0.0040 & 0.0050 (Gain versus risk is probably not worth it).

I will not touch half of my stocks in qbid which is 1m & daytrade the other half...I have already made some money so it is around 770k right now.

Lets see how the daytrading comes out. Actually I am trying to sell some other ones I own so I can day trade QBID a little more...& yes Diana I think you are crazy but very courageous at the same time for having so many shares...I think we all know this will at least get near 0.05 cents (hoping)....You will almost be done for life I guess....

same-sex marriages?
State says San Francisco altered licenses to delete 'bride,' 'groom'

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - After sanctioning more than 2,700 gay marriages in the past week, the city said Thursday it is suing the state of California, challenging its ban on same-sex marriages on constitutional grounds.

And this from Chicago, the next front

Mayor Daley said Wednesday he would have "no problem" with County Clerk David Orr issuing marriage licenses to gay couples -- and Orr said he's open to a San Francisco-style protest if a consensus can be built.

"They're your doctors, your lawyers, your journalists, your politicians," the mayor said. "They're someone's son or daughter. They're someone's mother or father. . . . I've seen people of the same sex adopt children, have families. [They're] great parents.

Yes the first thing I would buy would be a H2 hummer. I have already made a deal with myself that the stock that makes me my first million will have a licence plate with the stocks name on it. The Case Against Same-Sex Marriage
By Tim Leslie

Anyone not living in a cave has noticed the intensifying attack on traditional marriage. In Vermont, Canada, and Massachusetts—and now California, with the signing of a de facto gay marriage bill—the war drums against traditional matrimony are beating with ever-growing intensity......... http://www.crisismagazine.com/january2004/leslie.htm

Arrest the mayor!

Am I missing something? California has a law forbidding same-sex marriage. The mayor of San Francisco violates that law. Why is a court case even needed? Shouldn't they have been able to just arrest him? http://www.worldnetdaily.com/letters.asp

I TOOK THE SUBWAY to the culture wars this week. The sidewalk in front of the Massachusetts State House -- stop No. 1 on the tourist Freedom Trail -- was filled with combatants for and against gay marriage.

According to http://www.worldnetdaily.com/

http://www.dearmary.com/mary/index.html

A Christian legal group wants California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to arrest the mayor of San Francisco for issuing nearly 2,000 marriage licenses to homosexual couples in defiance of state law.

The American Family Association Center for Law and Policy called Mayor Gavin Newsom's decision to oversee the nation's first officially sanctioned same-sex weddings Thursday "an arrogant stunt" proving "the radical homosexual movement will trample the rights of all who stand in their way."

The AFA's law center wrote Schwarzenegger and Attorney General Bill Lockyer Friday insisting the mayor not only violated civil law, but criminal law as well.

Schwarzenegger and other state officials have remained silent on the issue.

The letter cites California's penal code Section 115, which "prohibits the knowing procurement of any false or forged instrument to be filed or recorded in any public office."

The penalty for the felony, the letter notes, is up to three years in prison. The AFA says this means three years for each false certificate issued.

With the clerk's office kept open over the weekend, more than 1,700 same-sex couples have been issued licenses since Thursday, when the city became the site of the first officially sanctioned "gay marriage" in American history.

Opponents of same-sex marriage are confident they will convince San Francisco Superior Court Judge Ronald Quidachay to issue a temporary restraining order after a hearing this morning.

The motion filed on behalf of the pro-family lobby group Campaign for California Families by the public-interest firms Lively & Ackerman and Liberty Counsel presents an "irrefutable argument" that Newsom and Clerk Nancy Alfaro had no authority to redefine marriage in direct conflict with California law, asserted the group's president and general counsel Mathew Staver.

"The rule of law will be restored in California," Staver said. "The mayor and the clerk have no right to act as tyrants, ruling San Francisco as their personal dictatorship."

The Arizona-based Alliance Defense Fund sought an emergency hearing Friday afternoon but was rejected for failing to give defendants the 24-hours notice required by law.

A hearing in ADF's lawsuit also will be held today.

Newsom argues homosexuals should be able to marry based on the California Constitution's guarantee of equal protection under the law. The 36-year-old mayor, who began his term Jan. 8, insists he merely is fulfilling his duty.

"I'm not interested as a mayor in moving forward with a separate but unequal process for people to engage in marriages," Newsom said Friday on ABC's "Good Morning America." "The people of this city and certainly around the state are feeling that separate but unequal doesn't make sense."

But the Alliance Defense Fund – representing state Sen. William Knight, author of a successful state ballot-measure that limited marriage to a man and a woman – argues the San Francisco County Clerk has no authority under the state's constitution to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.

"This isn't civil disobedience on the mayor's part; its sheer unfettered anarchy and complete disdain for the rule of law," ADF chief counsel Benjamin Bull said. "No mayor, not even the mayor of San Francisco, has the authority to defy the laws of the state in which they reside."

The statutes under the family code specify marriage is reserved to a man and a woman, and Bull points out no court has declared that section to be unconstitutional.

"Officials charged with solemnizing marriages must enforce those statutes on constitutional grounds when issuing marriage licenses, regardless of what [Mayor] Newsom orders them to do," said Bull.

Skaultmath asks: Should Mayor Newsom be arrested? Why or why not?

JUST A LITTLE POLITICAL!!

According to The Washington Post, the President, as a way to "jumpstart his campaign," is about to endorse a Constitutional amendment, sponsored by Representative Marylin Musgrave (R-CO) that would ban marriage rights for same-sex couples and could forever invalidate civil unions or other legal protections for same-sex couples and their children. He is bending to pressure from anti-gay extremists who oppose every effort to secure equality for GLBT Americans. He -- and all of our leaders -- need to hear from all of us who support GLBT civil rights and marriage equality, and who oppose amending our nation's most sacred document - the U.S. Constitution. We must be as relentless as the anti-gay forces.

So, starting today, we need your help in deluging Congress and the White House with calls, faxes, and e-mails. Here's how:

LOL, yeah kinda funny we were scanning sites at the same time. Bush already took a position against gay marriages, as did Arnie. I'm a right wing conspiracist and I don't see it as imoral..I pretty much see it as ilogical, nothing more. But who am I to step in the way of anyone's happiness. Especially when I can profit from their fight to do so.

hi guys, I'm new here and have a question.
If qbid is buying back shares why didn't they buy them before the price went up?
I have 2 million shares buy the way.
Thanks,
Rags2Riches

i think...qbid will be a flop....it wont go anywhere....eventually there will be an all gay tv channel but it wont necessarily be from this company (Qbid)...i personally hold 1 million shares of qbid so i would love for the company to flourish. But the real tv channel will be owned by a big network like nbc...or a big company of that sort.

I just don't see where they will get the money to come even CLOSE to buy back the shares they need to to make this anywhere near reasonable.

I am in this with only about $500, so I as the rest of you would like to see it sky rocket. It's just so hard to imagine it going too high because of the excessive volume. Can anyone else think of many situations where a company had the abiltiy to buy back this many shares to allow the stock price to rise to a reasonable amount?

I'm hoping for the best and I believe that this stock may go up, it may even get as high as a penny or so but from there I really don't have enough confidence. But hey, who's complaining with that?! Maybe not set for life but a damn good increase in your pocket
